It's just my opinion, feel free to ignore it.

Bodine would be the man to bug, Bill Swadender put his setup on his car and it looked really nice driving.

The cars are better on the track but the competition has gotten fierce. Everyone is on a 35+ lap pace. Back flip off the track once and you drop 4 spots

Bill,

Be glad to try to help. I was begging you not to give up last time but was to late, you had already thrown in the towel. I will PM you.

Thanks Wes. I have no aspirations of being uber competitive, just want a car that will drive so I have nothing to blame but me.

Bill, I fully understand that not everyone is in a position to help out with setup and tear down, my point was that....those who do help out, everynight or every so often are more important then who is fastest in what class.

Again just an opinion.

Hey guys gonna get me a 1/12th scaler here in a week or so. Whats the good tire combo to go with? Wish I could make wed night races but work dictates that I cant. But saturdays are wide open. Just gotta start getting all my stuff gathered up. Hope to see all you guys soon.

good tires are black and yellows. but if you got a bmi like myself the better combo is magenta front and rear.

yes the crc tires seem to make the car smoother. I think i am going to switch to the cefx z4 wheels and tires tho as they look like they will be better and spin truer on the car with there 19mm off-set.

one question tho are you running the bmi front end ? or a different one?

Okay, I want to try pan car this year and am having trouble making a decision. I like WGT and seems easier to drive but turn out seems to be low and questionable for longevity. 12th scale is booming but seems to be more difficult to tune and a major tire chase.

Next is a money issue. After putting together a new TC including electronics and having a great outing in Vegas, needless to say things are tight. In the recovery mode. . I think I have everything for 12th scale minus chassis and battery. ( it's 13.5 blinky right). Do they require a low profile servo as well? Wgt seems to be cheaper to run, but i would require a boostable speedo, battery, motor and chassis.

Decisions decisions.

Thoughts anyone? If you were to make the plunge from TC to pan car what would you choose?

If many more show up we are going to have a C-Main. Seriously.

I blame this on you, Todd.

@rdog, for tires I'm running magenta all the way around and it's real nice. I think Todd is also. I found SXT and Jack to work fine, Sticky Fingers does not make me happy on foam. I just had bad runs with it.

I would run 1/12 if i were you as technically the speedos are cheaper as you can run any speedo as long as its blinky and you just need a boosteror rec pack for most. for servos they run mini servos not low-profile. tires are cheaper for them and really if you are concerned about which ones. trav seems to only run blacks and yellows so there ya go! i personally like magentas but that is my opinion and what my car seems to like. I am sure someone would have a set of useable tires for you to try out till you get your own. but yes 1/12 is boomin and its alot of fun.
