Mike I think Wes and Ritchie is right .. they chatter less under the load... I noticed if the CVD joints are in good shape and tight most likey less chatter

Hell, Franko, I was high when I said that! That makes no sense at all!

It's not always bad to be in last place. Here's some things we can focus on: One, we tried hard. And two, we're still dear friends!

Bill, I DNF'd Scale Spec on 9/14, are you sure I still get points?

EDIT: Aside from the 1-point for TQ.

So long as you start and make at least one lap you will earn a placing. DNS's forfeit points, but so long as you start the race, the worst you can do is 10th, which will earn you the appropriate points.

Awesome.

Also, I could find any info on the H30 cup series on the website. Might be good to put that info up there.

Sort of a self serving request here, but others might be into it as well:

Any change of getting a Friday night practice/tuning session in? I won't make it to a Sat race til Thanksgiving.

Two words about it, though. One, the mod to the Smart Boost voids the warranty and any liability Novak might assume for damage to your battery from over-discharging.

And two, I ran the Smart Boost in my 1/12th for several months with the VC in place. Before V203 came out, I never had a problem with brownouts while running a 13.5 motor. And that was with the original SMC 4000mah 28c battery. Zero timing combined with 5000mah 40c batteries should result in trouble-free use without having to modify it at all. And for WGT's and 10.5's, I would definitely still try it before removing the VC.

I'm not plugging for Novak, other than I think the Smart Boost is a great little unit and the convenience is sure nice.
Is this the mod to do still?
