Default Sauces and Tire?

What tires have everybody have been using for the carpet track? Are foam tires allowed? Is there shop support to pickup sauce? I have Buggy Grip, FX, and Ground Effect. I'm assuming any Paragon product will rip up the carpet, right?

Wiley, Wiley, Wiley...

Stock Touring Tires: Rubber tire only. We use a spec tire. The Sweep QTS 32.

Traction Compound: Jack the Gripper, SXT 3.0, or Sticky Fingers are the only sauces allowed at Hangar 30.

On Site Support: RC Hobbies in Woodinville provides on site support on race days. They should have what you need. If you are planning ahead, Redmond Hobby Town USA and Everett Hobbytown USA should also have Hangar 30 supplies in stock. Call ahead to confirm.

I have SXT 3.0 and Sticky Fingers on the way to HTU Everett, unfortunately Jack is still out of stock... Hopefully RCH still has some left from last season as I'm sure lots of guys will need it.

I'll also be stocking 1/12 tires for NORA (yellow black) and for H30 (magenta and pinks) once Jaco WGT tires are back I'll stock a set of those as well.

What's the motor in 12th? My driving has gotten real bad and nothing has ever fixed poor throttle control for me like 12th scale. Also is there a novice class and how about mini's?

There is a novice class...though I would not consider your driving novice, but you'd fit in scale spec.

Mini's run with the Scale Spec class, which is the realistic car bodied class and Trans-Am's. There have been a few that have shown up and I intend to get one here shortly to run as a Scale Spec car soon (Mazda RX7 M06) randomly through the year.

1/12 runs a 13.5 motor with a non-timing ramp speed control (ROAR Sportsman ESC List) You can certainly run a 17.5 if you want to slow it down a little, personally I'd just under gear a 13.5. You'll have to get out of the way a lot but you have enough car control to run a continuous line so it wouldn't be an issue.

The club's website seattlercracers.com has the entire list of rules and what nots.

I believe Fantasy World and TRCR both have Sticky Fingers, I have a can of jack that I won't be using this winter. If someone wants it, ask for it sunday at FW. Not sure how long I will be there.

Not to troll your thread, but if anyone comes down this Sunday we have 50 or 60 cans of Jack in the shop, or online....

That means you will HAVE to use it!!!! (At H30 this season)

Contort to the rules, we need to talk game plan for next seasons nitro onslaught.. even though I will have my own ride (check my sig) I am still on Team Cluck and will always blame Lem for giving me the first hit of "Nitro Crack"....

See yous on the 18TH, which, for Brian Bodine, is a Sunday!!!

Default Novak motor problem...

Trying to get my SS/VTA ready for Wednesday... but running into a motor problem...

Brand new Novak Ballistic 25.5 motor.
I've tried two different ESC's, receivers and Tx/Rx... and so I'm confident the problem is the motor.

Glitching & grinding... Sensor board? sensor assembly/wire?

Try a new sensor wire before anything else.

Amazing. One of the Novak guys already contacted me after I showed him the problem on video... and is sending me a new sensor board. Hopefully I'll be ready for Wednesday.
