I am so pumped up for the Hanger to get swinging that I am going to strategically miss the first race. I'd be like a freshmen on prom night anyways. This way, I get to gain some composure. I am sportin' a new ride. Went "retro" on the paint. Kinda like it. Sorta Starsky n Hutch. Albeit, I will be a giant bullseye all over my new TC6. Gotta give props to Sean at Woodinville RC and especially Panda for the wisdom.

Lets do this thing already!

Oh, and I will have the 12th and pumped up WGT ready to go on the first Sat.

Use to say that: "two classes was too much". Three should be just right.

Does the bullseye matter if there's no-one behind you?

What class?

Is anyone interested in racing at SyKart (Tukwila) in the next few days?

Dave and I have been going there quite a bit, would be cool to have a little pre-season H30 gokart fest.

[QUOTE=PutAwayWet;9572935]2011/2012 Indoor Onroad Specs & Rules

LiPo battery voltage: 1s maximum voltage: 4.200v. 2s maximum voltage: 8.400v. Cars that fail prerace tech will be disqualified for that round. This is a zero tolerance policy. The club's voltmeter will be the reference of last resort.

Anyone know how to change the peak charging voltage for a duratrax Ice charger?
When set to charge Lipos, mine seems to be defaulted to 8.440V and 4.240V
Thanks, Erik

Maybe God needs to come on here and clarify this issue.

The ICE charger has a setting on it that says "charge to capacity" or something similar and by default is set at "110%" ... you need to change that 110 to 90-100 to achieve the desired voltage.

I actually ruined a couple of packs by over charging with this charger. Which is how I learned this.

On another note...

The honest thing everyone can do is not use battery voltage to try to win, having a lipo run away on us inside the hangar could ruin a race night, even with the large space of the hangar a pack going up could end the night Or bring unneeded attention to the club. Let's not push things.

Default Club Racing

Hey guys,

I want to run 17.5 non-boost with my 416 but don't know what class that lands on. I was reading the flyer. I didn't see a 17.5 class, is it World GT Class? What are the rules in terms of tire, sauce, battery,.... etc.
Do you run Tamiya Mini class? I will try to make some of the club races if I can.

Thanks,
-Wiley

Stock Touring is 17.5.

For the other details, check back a page or two for where Todd posted the rules, or check www.seattlercracers.com.

We'll look forward to racing with you!

Stock Touring, Wiley.

The full specs and rules are here: http://seattlercracers.com/specsrules/

Nice to see you coming back out. Mini's can run in Scale Spec, and occasionally do.
