Can anyone tell me the characteristics of this whole 1s rotor thing? Are they stronger magnetically or less than a normal rotor? I have one for my LRP X12 4.5 mod, it's actually the team spec 1s rotor but I have never read much about them, but of course I bought it anyways

I have and will start on 1.710"-1.720" for rear size. And 30-40 thousandths smaller on the front. So 1.670".
I thought s/b 100th of inches split

Hey Todd
can you tell the difference between the standard and the 1S rotor?
I like the rollout in the 80ish

It should be a massive difference with the x-12.

It's weaker, and sometimes a little smaller. They generally provide better RPM, less overall torque and fade less when used in 1s applications.

Sound the 1S rotor are good for open flow track or great for mod motor application

I think the 1s rotor is just good in 1s period. Doesn't matter the size of the track. If geared for accordingly, it fades much less later in the run. This is in the LRP X-12 though, I have not had any other experience in other motors though.

Not sure. I just know there is more power at the end of the run using the 1s rotor in comparison to the one the motor came with.
