Default Tub News!

The Tub will now contain more CRC parts. Side springs, regular diff rings, 20k and 30k tube/kingpin lube, front springs, and rear axle/diff bearings.

1/12 Bodies: Many have asked me about body characteristics of the different popular shells. I feel the Parma and the Protoform provide a little more rear grip and make the car a little easier to drive. The CRC packs a little more low speed steering but the car is less stable.

Dug up my passport and thank god it's still good for one more year

On another, weirder note... Looked at the visa stamps in the back, and 8-years ago today I was landing in Tokyo for the Tamiya Worlds.

Rest assured, this wont be easy! There are some pretty fast guys waiting for us.

Hi Brian,

You guys are going to Victoria.. No one told us.. ( lowermainland guys) that sounds like fun.. Are they running a normal program ( 12th only) or are they running sedan as well?

If you guys can make it up again, you should check out our new track in Abbotsford, it is only 5 minutes from the Sumas border and is permanent. Racing every Sunday. It is kinda like your old track... Lots of fun

if you want more info PM me... we would love to have you guys up.

Hey Korgae,
This deal that's been in the works for a long time and finally it's coming through. Mick told me long ago that they had a great group of 12th scale guys racing on the Island. He was trying to coax a few of us up to race. I said to myself, come on, they're trapped on an Island, how good could it really be. Well, this past summer really impressed me. I told Captain Todd about this deal with 12th scale and he lit up. We rallied the troops and needless to say, here we come. I think our head count just rose to 6 drivers. Blake said he was going to contact some of the mainland 12th drivers for this race on the 20th. If he hasn't, spread the word. They only race 17.5 timed. No TC. I personally think it's a brilliant plan for their location. Definitely post up your track location and details. You never know who will come your way. And likewise, keep an eye on H30's single day Saturday events or the NWIC series leg in March. I know that Keith and Nospoon have made the trip several times.

Default Speed Passion Club Spec with Novak 25.5

In case anyone is wondering how this ended up, I finally got a working ESC sent back to me from Speed Passion, took a mere 3 weeks, and it works. Total time from inital install to working, 6 weeks. Phew!

To add insult to injury, I will be going to Spokane for Thanksgiving and will miss our next race.

Randy, look me up next time you are at the track, you can have your brushed speedo back. Thanks!!
