(timing). Jaybee can confirm this has he talked to keven H at TZGP about it. little help here JB.

Correct guys....
Run the LRP SXX v.2 for No Boost STOCK racing or MOD. This speedo was specifically made to run MOD motors.....per Kevin Herbert

Run the LRP SXX Stock Spec especially for STOCK racing....per Kevin Herbert

how i am reading this is that the v2 would be the ideal speedo for wgt running a 10.5 class over the stock spec
just saying that since it says 12th and wgt is basically the same only a little larger. that i and i think a 10.5 with timing added is a mod class, lol.
or am i still reading this all wrong

Frank,
In a nut shell, the V2 is great for no boost any motor or mod in either 12th or wgt or 1S classes. If you travel to a track that uses boost, you will be dead in the water. There is a profound difference between boosted and not.

Correct here Frank....I found this out at the TZII GP. I had to buy a Tekin to keep my weekend going....running MOD 1/12th was not an option

The bottom is , If you are going to run the Spec classes with the Turbo or Boost Timming the V2 is not the hot ticket.....

Default Raceday Schedules

From what I can tell on the SRCR website, weekday races start with setup at 5pm. What about the weekend/holiday schedules?

Thanks
Jason

so the timing is there, just TOO mild for a 10.5 to make it competitive in the wgt class

is the stock spec to weak to handle the power of a 10.5? cuz that would only leave the tc spec left.

Other than Jaybee....sort of...has anyone suggested the Tekin? It's got you covered, and their customer service has been top notch in my experience.

Ahhh, okay. IMO the boosters are really no big deal though. One less pack to charge!
I agree no pack OR booster would be cool.

I would consider the SXX SS to be good up to 10.5 when you use the dynamic timing profiles. The SS will even work with full blown mod motors.. you just have to turn everything way down or off. That leaves the usable range of adjustment extremely small and not so awesome for full blown mod stuff.

The V2 is for mod (and zero timing classes). It has a wide range of adjustment for the range in which mod motors are happy.

As far as I know... the internals are actually similar. I'm not 100% on that though as I have yet to open them up.

Speaking of ESC...

Anyone have something I can slap into my 1/12 for a week or two? I wanted to get a 1/12 rolling by the next NWIC race and it might be kinda tight on funds.
