Get the LRP SXX Version 2. Nothing else needed (booster, rcvr pack). Can be ran in "spec mode". I think Ritchie (Skypilot) is selling his..

yup v2 is the boost built in. i will be looking for one of them.

as far as stock spec and what not, like jaybee said, i want be able to compete in the raes that have open timing, so that being said it look like the v2 competition is the one for wgt so that is what ill be looking for, unless the v2 stock spec is able to adjust timing.

I have the LRP SXX comp V2, I'll let you borrow it to see if it fits your needs, hell, I have your car, maybe should just install it and the extra (backup not for sale) 9650 sevro I have, that way all you have to do is drop in a battery/rcvr/motor on race night and hit the track.

lipo, what lipos??

yea theres two TP packs in the box, I have it listed for $150.00 its been ran twice one at the hanger in 1.12 and once at FW in wgt, but I don't think this is the one you want, I'm pretty darn sure its for Mod only, the stock spec is the one you want, and it doesn't really mean spec as in zero timing, just that it has 'specs' built in for stock racing. (timing). Jaybee can confirm this has he talked to keven H at TZGP about it. little help here JB.

The LRP SXX V2 has boost and feel adjustments, much like the SXX Stock Spec. The timing profiles in the "boost" adjustment are WAY more mild on the V2 vs the Stock Spec. They are were specifically designed for modified racing on larger tracks where they can benefit from a little extra top end power. Much like Speed Passion's 528_mod software. The SXX Stock spec has some very aggressive timing profiles in comparison... and would most likely start popping motors or itself very quickly if used with a full blown modified motor.

Default series race with NORA this Saturday

Hey,

just wondering who is going to the race in Mt Vernon this Saturday?

anyone familiar with the carpet? and what to expect for traction, especially with foam 1/12.

Thanks,
Alex

I plan on going unless I get diverted somewhere warmer. I do not know anything about their facility either and posted a couple of questions on the NWIC #2 thread. Right off, does anyone know if they use Paragon or Jack?

this all must be why the description suggests the competition v2 for 1/12th and 2wd, less punch so not so aggressive to break the tires loose.

Default Nora Series

Hey Guys, Brian and I went up to the fairgrounds on Saturday for some track time. Since it was/is used for oval the grip seemed decent around the perimeter of the track and low in the infield. I was leaving the paragon on the tires for 20+ minutes. I'm sure the traction will come up once more cars are on the track-Have fun!

Reading the speedpassion thread, apparently there is/was an issue with the cirtix and novak/lrp motors. There is a version 2 esc that fixed the problem.
