Default Sean

If you have a free or very cheap 1s lipo and 10.5 please throw them in the tub. ... But on a realistic note I could use some servo tape.

Default Mini and F1 batteries

There was a question a few pages back about ROAR-approved batteries in Mini. Here's the deal: I love Tamiya, I really do. But they need to get on with the lipo thing. But, until they do, certain of their chassis are not friendly to modern square pack lipo's. So, in the two classes dominated by Tamiya cars, ie. Mini and F1, we're going to have to do a little dance around the ROAR-approved thing. All batteries have to be in a hard plastic case, but in Mini and F1, the ROAR-approved part will have to slide. There just aren't enough of the stick-style lipo packs that are also ROAR-approved to make it work.

In all other classes, ROAR-approved batteries are required.

Default Good to Go, H30 Ready to Rock

So, Alex texts me last night as he's dropping off yet another excellent improvement to our infrastructure: "The Hangar is full of plants!"

Yes, the Horticultural Society has there big to-do on Friday and Saturday of this weekend every year. And if you go in, it is, indeed, a jungle. Particularly at night, it's a little a spooky. Anyway, I just completed my Night-Before-Nervous-Nellie-Check, and it's all good. We have a completely empty and swept out hangar waiting for us in the morning.

The schedule again:

6:30am Breakfast at Burgermaster
7am Setup
8am Practice
10am Q1

It looks to be a fun day with a healthy turnout.

See you in the morning.

Well, I really made a strong push to make my debut in 1/12 tomorrow, but there is just one thing left standing in the way of making that happen...my Smart Boost didn't make it in today (which I was really banking on)

Is there anyone that can hook a bruddah up for a day?

Hey guys, I'll be heading up with brian shook tomorrow for my first time at your track. He says that you have to be Roar member and that there is a spec tire, sweep 32's. I hate to sound like a mooch, but is there anyone that can let me borrow a set for a day or perhaps sell me a used set they no longer use? I'm trying to broaden my track horizons without breaking the bank. Roar also used to have a one day pass, is this still an option? Thanks in advance!!--Al

Looks to be a healthy 12th-scale turnout tomorrow...sweet!!!

And once again for the WGT guys, I have (2) brand new complete sets (front and rears) left of the original Jaco 'carbon fiber' Purples. They're cut race ready at 2.14". Look me up tomorrow if you need them. $20/set
