Change of plans. At the build day I stripped my $#@% spur. Changed it tonight and realized my &%$@ motor mounting holes are stripped. Saw there are more mounting holes, but don't have longer wire to re-solder. Can't get to the %$#& track until right before races...no time to work on it tomorrow.

@#$%&*^$#@#$!!!!

I'll be full-time corner marshal tomorrow.

Poop.

Will bring a new bottle of Paragon for folks to use, and the air compressor I forgot last time.

Don't let me drive a 1/12 scale tomorrow. Working on this damn sedan and all the little parts almost made me blow an O-ring tonight.

You aren't getting out that easy... 3 motor wires... that shouldn't take but a few minutes. Get it all set up otherwise. I'll bring wire , iron, solder... etc. YOU ARE RACING !!!

p.s. You got a PM !

I'll try to drop by tomorrow and take some pics of some of the races. I'm afraid I won't be able to drive: car isn't quite rebuilt, body isn't quite painted. Just didn't have time this last week to get everything done. Alas.

BTW all, there was a TON of crud on my tires after running on the build night. It was very difficult to get the tires clean with motor spray tonight, and even after all the crud is gone the tires aren't 'sticky' anymore. Hope this is just a unique experience...it was never that bad at SIR.

Back at ya Jake, thanks.

Usually the crud buildup goes away after more people run on the track, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem soon. Got myself a 17.5 to run now! I'm definitely going to be there.

tomorrow? You're going to run that new body tomorrow? Now I definately need to be there with a camera. I don't have the right pics to document it to recreate it. for the D8. that you ARE going to get.

Doea anyone know where I can find some? Checked my local shops from southcenter to Woodinville and nothing. All I got is a can of Jack leftover from SIR days. Need to race tomorrow. LOL
FWIW....for the north end people, the Everett Hobbytown does keep a can of Paragon and Jaco blue's in stock. Also still have 3+ of the Protoform WGT Sophia bodies...

Brushless?? Then just Rotate the can end bell 120deg to the next set of holes. No rewiring needed.

I will be down with 2 for 17.5 sedan. I should be there by 6 ish

Yeah, Jake and Alex helped me out with this.

Well, there are 3 legs (gender specifics not withstanding), the smallest of the 3 would probably "Like a Higher Frequency". Consult your physician for more info..... It was noted about the ongoing excitement about Obama by Media personality Chris Nathews that "I feel a Thrill running up my leg" when hearing Obama speak, go figure......

A granola bar and cool water tastes like a gourmet meal after a 10 mile hike.

But I'll agree it's a sad state of affairs when coherent speech elicits that kind of excitement.
