As far as new features I heard a rumor the new back bumper will act as a bottle opener. So its got that going for it already.

Looking at the tc6 too.

Parts availability and durability are #1 for me, 'cause I'm a hack.
The TC6's looked great at the Roar Nat's, I would get that if I was you.

Yeah, but Jake won't have spare parts for that car.

Default Chassis upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade from a TA05 chassis this year. If anybody has something they feel is superior and would like to sell, let me know.

Look for a Xray 008 or 009 for sale. You will be happy!

I have a deal/offer for you first, or anyone else if you decide not to take me up on it. If you'd like to try WGT you can borrow my CRC for a few race nights. It will need a 1s lipo, transponder, and rear tires. Otherwise it is bind-and-drive. Just replace anything you break.

I was very tempted. Didn't want to futz around with making it lipo friendly.

I know...easy to do, but I'm that stereotypical weekend warrior racer. Stuff's gotta work out of the box or it will just gather dust....or get sold.

I've been through so many tc chassis in the past 2 years, just want something solid that won't be a PITA to maintain.

Are many or any of you planning on running mod tc, or just stock?

LOL!!!

But a good point. I know I wouldn't have finished the Sizzler without a borrowed a part. But had I not broke that part, I would have won it too. Lesson is, don't hit stuff when you have a 6 second lead !

Wes I think you will see a nice mix in both.

I was thinking if you guys wanted to start out slow this year we could go with 10.5 without timing and start working our way down. Let every one get used to the new tires and traction... Now if some one wants to go straight for the 4.5 that's fine as its Open TC... We could do a little Gentlemen's agreement and I would be down for that.

What do you guys think?

Before I make my final decision, I want to see what the speed is like. I also have some reservations about the second class that I am going to do with the speed of the 1/12th class being now that it will be no timing. Turnouts will also be factor for me.
