Ah I was just giving you crap. Just anxious to see what I will need to pick before the 19th.

I am assuming Tekins are ok for stock and WGT with v208 in the #1 profile (no timing/boost) just "normal" esc settings?

I wasn't able to make it out to the meeting last night but I have a question for you that were there, are the tennis people still in the picture or did they fold up yet?

-Scale Spec... Two things have changed for this year. (1) Mini and F103GT are legal to race. (2) legal motors are Tamiya silver can and Novak SS or Ballistic 25.5 motors with legal none timing speed controls and settings.

That should do it peeps. The complete race bible will be posted ASAP on the club web site as well sent out to all current club members via email.

Default One-off aluminum anodizing

On a completely different subject - I'd like to get four large aluminum shock bodies anodized bright red for a crawler project. Do any of you know of a good, cheap place to do something like that? I called a local place but they have a min $130 lot charge which would cover around 40 small parts.

I'll have to wait and see these in person. Not sure what the difference would be between a 1/10 Pan and a 1/10 TC, other than cooler-looking bodies.
You can find some pictures of the Associated WGT car here. It's a fun class. http://67.199.85.166/ae/10r5/10r5_home.php

Franko read Todd's instructions to the Competition Committee. We are in 100% agreement of his assesment regarding the typical member of the club. Given that definition, most of the clubs racers do not travel to other tracks. So what other tracks are running is not applicable. What a spec tire does for the club is provide a level playing field for the racers so that they do not have to worry about the tire of the week and spending more money just to keep up. These tires have been tested by many and have proven to provide good grip in a variety of conditions, have a long life, and are reasonable priced. That said the general consensus of the committee is that costs need to be kept down for the typical club racer. A spec tire does just that.
