I know it's only July 1, but with this early fall season I'm thinking about H30!

Any word from the Uber Committee on 2010/2011 classes, spec tires, tennis ball fuzz, grit, or pizza grease?

Talk has slowed down as some are getting ready for Nats and others camping, biking and having a good time when the sun will allow. Every thing is just talk with ideas bouncing around at this point. Nothing has been set in stone.

I've finally got my new T3 up and running but I'm finding that the front drive belt vibrates a lot when I give it power while the wheels are turned all the way left or right. Would that be normal or did I screw something up when I put it together? I have the travel set well and nothing appears to be rubbing in the wrong place.

In case it matters, running:
Tekin RS Pro, 21.5T Redline
84T Spur, 28T Pinion for an FDR of 5.1
40C/4200mah lipo
Everything else is stock (EU model)

At full steering lock touring cars have a tendency to chatter in the front wheels, this might be what your seeing translated as belt bounce. It is amplified when the suspension is unloaded, especially if there is a lot of up travel (droop) in the suspension and the arms are hanging down when you have it up in your hand.

So it's "normal" but not desirable. If the wheels themselves do not appear to be "bouncing" back and forth at full lock I wouldn't be as concerned, just check your belt tightness. Personally I've always run a belt as loose as possible before it skips.

You can calm down the chatter with different drive shafts. Losi, XRAY, and others make a double jointed CVD that smooths out the front end. I think the XRAY one is called a ECS shaft? Someone correct me if that's wrong. They make the front end smoother at full lock; but are slightly less durable.

Thanks Wes! Good, I'm not so worried now. It's definitely amplified when I hold the car in my hand so it'll probably be ok for now.
