I have a feeling this might be shot down, but I'm just going to give it a shot anyway. Is there anyway we can work in a mod class on these next two Wednesday night race days? Trying to find a way to get some practice in for the upcoming NWIC race. *Awaits beating from Todd*

With our last couple race days being a little lighter on turn outs I think we could work it in but its not up to me... I think people would enjoy seeing it. Lets see what the turn out is like and can go from there. If there is only 6 race heats like last time then its a go in my mind. Lets see if its an option first then if it is be sure to have a 17.5 just for back up.

I'd be in to fill out the class ... and hopefully not in the way too much...

I need to practice using brakes and so far, 17.5 hasn't forced me to do it , me thinks a 10.5 would !

So long as Kody is confirmed for the RD slot this Wednesday, it will be his call on whether to add a Mod TC class. He's certainly competent to judge what an additional class does to the schedule. It may or may not net out the same. We'll have to see. I understand that guys want to prepare for the NWIC and the next two H30 Wednesdays are their best chance to get in some valuable practice.

But...club racing at the Hangar is its own good thing. Big races, even our own, are not the first priority. It's not "testing and tuning" for the upper echelon of drivers. Full, competitive heats of prepared racers in all classes is the goal. And the expectation. Every time.
