Looks like we are going to have a good turn out for Sunday!

Few things we wanted to bring up.

Corner workers

If you have some free time here and there please come out to the track and help corner. Every one needs help and it sucks to have to corner your own car. Its not required but is nice thing helping each other out. Makes the day more productive for every one!

We will also be running on new carpet and the club is very protective over it. Please check your cars before every run to make sure of the following things are inline:

-Screw's are tight on the bottom of the car. A lose screw can chunk and rip the carpet.

-Minimum ride hight. Here are the minimum's for each classes.

12th 3mm
WGT 4mm
Sedans 5mm
F1 4mm

-Body hight is properly set as to not rub the carpet in corners. A body that drags can also rip and chunk carpet as well as lift up the tape that holds the carpet down.

All of the above will help keep track maintenance down and more track time for every one!

See every one Sunday,

Kody

Also helps to cut the sharp corners from the edges of your wheel wells.

Hey Sean,

Is it okay to put those numbers up here? Like, is the difference between the Nemesis and a DUO2 larger than the difference between a couple DUO2's?

Inquiring minds want to know.

PS is a 17.5 nemesis on its way too?

Forget about 17.5 motors Greg! Run what you have and hold off for now. The new stock motor is going to be the 21.5 or something else! LOL

With the technology of new speed controls the world of RC cars is going to have to take a hard look and make some changes soon.

As ROAR did with 12th scale going to single cell (I personly do not agree with 1s but agree on the slowing down of cars...) to slow down the classes the same is going to have to be done with 2cell cars. I would hope with motors not batteries! This could mean that a 21.5 becomes stock, 17.5 is SS and 13.5 and up is mod or possibly some new windings are put in place. I do not know but I can see the need of a change shortly.

Evolution: Some times you love it and some times you hate it!

So the Novak Ballistic motors just showed up in the shop today. We got the 10.5, 13.5 and 17.5. Get them while they're hot!

I dunno man. The DUO I have is getting sort of long in the tooth. It has a pretty busy season at FWR and a half a season worth of H30 on it. So I will always keep it for sentimental reasons.

To the more experienced racers reading along: is it reasonable to expect a motor to stay strong for 50 runs? What about 100? I am expecting the rotor to weaken over time with that many temperature cycles on it, even if it is never technically over-heated.

Hey guys, I'm thinking about selling my touring car. It's the Kyosho Stallion Shin Version. I have more spares than you could imagine for it. PM me if anyone is interested.
