Default Floor Work 7pm Friday

Jake called dibs on after dinner, so that's what we'll go with.

7pm tomorrow night for floor work. I'm shooting for two hours total. Maybe we can do it in less.

We don't need a bunch of guys, unless of course you have a push broom. There's the one I bought and another that's usually in the storage room.

I'll also bring a vacuum. Bring another if you like. Or several. It should have a rotary brush, though, not just suction.

See you there.

That's a great layout Randy. I like the Straight-Sweeper-Chicane very much. The slot is there if you have the courage for it. Same on the near left.

My sense from some of these layouts is that the materials spec might be a little tight. I found a second, cheaper source for the downspout, so we can afford another 10-pack, which would bump up the available pipe to 600', not including the two I brought in for samples. Also, we would have some extra in case we break a piece or want to a reengineer a section. I will order it; we have plenty of time before build day.

So, if anyone is working a layout and, for instance, puzzling out sweepers and foresee advantages to one material versus another, don't hesitate to post it up and make a case.

I certainly don't have all the answers. We're seeing some good ideas here.

Alright guys, due to the busy nature of the holiday season neither Sean nor myself will be able to come down to the Hangar on Saturday. Sorry to those of you that needed stuff from the shop, but we just couldn't make it work. We'll both be at the shop all day today and Saturday if you need to come pick anything up. Hope everyone has fun tomorrow!

Default De-Grit Complete

Thank you to Kody, Jake, and Alex for the help with the floor.

We swept, then swept again and blew it out, and then we rolled out the carpet and vacuumed the whole thing. It looks great. See you at the races.

Hey Todd(and the rest of the club)

I am planning on being there for the race today, however I may miss the first round of qualfying and be there hopfuly no later then 11. I'll be running scale spec.

I guess I am making sure this is not a problem. Let me know if possible, I'll check back later this am.

Should we expect a good 13.5 12th field this Wed? Roll call!

Me: check!
