Seattle RC Racers/Hangar 30

We will open up the tires for Stock TC. Run what you like.
We have Jacos track side, which will be competitive against anything else. They WILL need glue.
The new Gravity tires look like they don't need glue, which is honestly the best news in carpet touring car in the last five years. Run 'em if you got 'em I say!
I'll get the rule set updated asap.

Wish I would have seen the 21.5 TC earlier... will be down soon if this class is running...🇨🇦

I will bring my 21.5 tc to test tonight on the Gravity Tires.

Hey Garrett, I have an AE12th roller with a ton of options and spares I'd sell for $100-message me and I can send you pics if you like-Alvin

Hey all, I just wanted to tell a brief story about GT12r. I had a car I designed, oh, 8yrs ago for the "grey era" carpet racing. It didn't fair too well once black carpet came on the scene. But it's simply too cool to toss aside. It's been hanging on the historical wall in my shop ever since. Then it dawned on me, I should "Tom Brady" this thing into a gt12 car after watching Peter and Wes come out of their retirements. Asked a few questions from the bleacher section. Ordered some parts. Saw a Montech Porsche GT3 that no one local has been running. Poured some 2022 love into the old girl and bam, I've got another race class. The rule package is brilliant. Cost effective, you bet. A $65 motor that you can't do anything with other than wish for a membership to Jenny Craig. A fixed ratio of 1.8 or higher. I couldn't get 1.8 to fit (due to the age of the design) so I went with 1.81. The SJT tires costs about $35 anywhere you can find them and I expect that they will last most of a season. I was taught to clean the tires with traction after your run, dope rears 30min prior, dope fronts and redope rears the last 10 min. I tried a spool at H30 and found it not possible to drive. Some may get it to work. I hear a spool works at Nora. I tried a "thick diff" at H30, and it did not suit my car either. A straight up ball diff was delightful to drive. Give the car 3.5mm min ride height at H30. This a neat class with huge affordable fun. If you're surfing the couch on Wed nights looking for something to do in between football and waiting for spring training to fire up....dust off whatever 12th scale chassis you have laying around and come have some fun.

Naw, those were my t-bar cars with the molded c/f. That would be interesting to dust off one of those and stumble down memory lane. Not sure that a t-bar could hang with current link design.

I was hoping to roll out my new ARC A10 last night, but my wife greeted me with "Happy Anniversary" yesterday morning and I realized I had forgotten our anniversary. Whoops!

A10 that would be really cool to see in action. I have the R12 and the R12.1 upgrade kit that is still yet to be installed.

Anyone have an MMXA chassis they want to sell-and recommend a starting set up for an MMX as well. Looking to come out and finally join in on the fun again-Thanks, Alvin
