Thanks for the tip Scottrik!

Another question:

Should I keep tires that are sauced with Paragon seperate from tires sauced with Jack? I know that it affects the carpet but is enough retained in the foam to cause a problem? I'm going to run TZ on all the off-Hangar weeks, went down there last night to shake the new car down

I wouldnt worry about separating them...just clean them really well with motor spray before you put a different pookem on them...

I think we all like to do as well as we can. Anyhow Dave made it clear he was getting one so I followed suite. I'm sure when the race comes around there will be many more with the AE speedo as well, frankly I surprised you haven't ordered one yet.

Well, the new Orca 1s will be coming soon....as well as the new LRP....I would be willing to bet they will be at least as good as the Black Diamond but selling for $200...

Im going to wait...

I hope your right, $350 is too much for a speedo and I would like to see more reasonable performance comparable options. Due to AE's high price tag I could only afford 1 to share between my 2 pan cars. I figure If am spending the money on extra tires, hotel & such for a regional event I might as well have all the right stuff to participate.

Do you have an eta for the orcca & LRP answers, I would love to see how they stack up.

I would estimate a month or 2 for the LRP....Not sure about the Orca, but Keith said something about January...

Has anyone considered the Castle-Creations Mamba Max Pro esc? I currently use one in my T2R, but I am a touring newb, so I have nothing to show in terms of lap times yet. I just find it strange that it hasn't even been mentioned on this thread.

Anyhow, the specs are...

-Sensored/sensorless
-C.H.E.A.T mode allows you to select the rpm range at which dynamic timing advance of the sensors kick in and you can select the timing advance from 0 to 50 degrees.
-Adjustable bec from 4-7.2 volts in .1volt increments.
-Up to 6s lipo capable. Should be able to handle 1s due to the switching bec (all other escs have linear bec which is why they are limited to 2s or 2-3s lipo).
-Programable via PC

Best of all, its dirt cheap. $128 at Tower and that's not even with a discount coupon.

76, 78, 80, 82 and 84 and they cost $5...Kimbrough does not have big pinions as far as I know, but we have all the Robinson pinions...

Does RRP even have a 48 or 49 in their Pro line?

I have 40-47 and 50 and would like to fill that gap.

If Robinson doesn't look at PRS (Precision Racing Systems) they do for sure.

In the oval forums they talk about a modification to make it work with 1cell and claim it is marginally better than the LRP & Tekin in their application. Due to its size it might be hard to fit in some of the current cars out there. I haven't seen one in action so I can't comment on how well it compares to others in sedan or pan car application.
