Oh, you were talking about racing. My bad. I thought you were referring to something else, with which there are witnesses, selfies on Mikes' phone, testimonies and hidden cameras that would dispute that.

So just bring a chair?
Bringing a chair sounds like some pretty advanced maneuvering given it's your first time

Seriously though, should I grab a chair before I head over? I'm in for 17.5 tourin' this evening.

Sounds like we will have a nice group for TC tonight! Looking forward to it.

Chairs are needed on Wednesdays. Think we brought some over but to make sure you have a chair please bring your own.

Yes, grab a chair from home.

Erik, glad I checked this. I'll make sure to have a set with me.

I've got something new to "play" with. It's a little rough, but it's a concept. Could be a game changer, could be epic fail. ....Mike, leave it! I know how you mind wanders.

Default Power ON

I checked with the good folks at the park this morning, and all is good at Hangar 30. The power is on, there are no trees blown on to the hangar floor. Everything is

Good to Go!

I'll be running stock tonight as well. If someone forgets their chair, there's always room on my lap. But you may have to do a timeshare with Andrew.

Sadly, I will once again not be racing because of work/family stuff. Grrrrrrrrr. But I will be stopping by since I owe someone some money and I want to at least watch some racing =D

Default Hangar 30, Round 3 Results

The word is out, Hangar 30 offers a great mix of good racing, fun + technical layout, plus time to test and tune. We had a great turnout, with two novice drivers, full heats of Stock Touring, 1/12, and of course Scale Spec, each stacked with many of the top racers in the club. If you haven’t yet come down to H30 this season, I hope to see you at the next race on December 9th.

Scale Spec was another strong field, with Howard Herron taking the bump from the B and 7th overall in the A main. Top qualifier Mark Brown didn’t have an easy main as #2 Chris Perry hounded him for the full 6 minutes, with the final results not showing how close it really was. Their fast laps were only 0.02 seconds apart, top 5 0.12 apart, and top 15 laps only 0.11 seconds apart. When the bell sounded, Chris got caught while Mark was able to log one final lap. I logged another 3rd place after some early boneheaded moves which put me at the back of the pack on lap 2. Mark and Chris are set to have a very exciting season.

Stock Touring was nice and full with an 8 car field, and stacked with talent. Kody Knudtson managed to grab TQ from Jake Danilchik by only 1.3 seconds, with Andrew Cartwright close behind in 3rd on the grid. The main looked like another bell to bell for Kody until the halfway mark when Jake got past. After a couple of laps in the lead, Jake took a spill and dropped to 3rd, with Andrew 2nd. A tap on a pipe one lap later have Jake the opening he needed to get past Andrew for a few laps until another tap shuffled the order once again. Final results: Jake 3rd, Andrew 2nd and Kody 1st at the finish, while the fast laps were reversed, with Jake 0.038 quicker than Kody.

Stock 1/12 was the highlight of the night, with Brian Bodine locking down his customary TQ position and a resurgent Todd Mason in 2nd. What followed was 8 minutes of nip-and-tuck follow the leader action. The only slow laps Brian had were the ones where he and Todd made contact, but the racing stayed clean and the rest of the field did a fantastic job to give these guys the space they needed to see things through to the end. At one point two cars lie tangled in the middle of the chicane; as they approached, neither Todd nor Brian let off, threading the needle (seriously the opening was maybe 1.5 car widths) at full wood – it was a “no way that just happened” type of moment. Todd was on Brian like white on rice, with several looks and attempted passes, but in the end Brian managed to hold on with 0.53 seconds as the final margin of victory. Based on the smile afterwards, I’m thinking this is one of the better 2nd places Todd has had in his racing career. Also, a shout out to Erik Rikensrud for making his first trip to the Hanger this season and taking home 3rd place.

I hope you all find time to relax and the Thanksgiving holiday, and also to get down to the CC or H30 to enjoy some SuperShitHotDialed Seattle RC Racers action. Results are attached below.

Yeah, no doubt, Todd up'ed the anti. New Radio, fresh car, dialed in determination...he brought it. I was fooling around with a prototype pod I dreamt up while sailing the South China Seas with only chute of bamboo and rice paper to scribble with. Work finally receded and the mill was fired up with anticipation. I created a rear pod that adjusts ride height with only one screw! And it works. It was not built of the materials I want, so I drove with lots of respect to avoid damage. It survived and I was quite pleased with the results. The fact that Todd and I gave chase for 480 seconds a mere corner or less apart was icing on the cake. Did I take risk? Oh Yeah. Todd had fire in his eyes. He wanted it. I kept the carrot just far enough out to avoid the big bite. We get to go again at it this Sat night in mod trim. All I can say is: come get some. This is good stuff!

That was a lot of fun on Wednesday night. If you haven't been out there...do it. We've been spoiled with the big track in the CC that is just a blast to run the little one.
Thank you Kyle for running that program.
It might be a while before I do it again....early mornings get a little rough. Although it might have something to do with the rufie-colada that Mike Boyle gave me
Ready for tomorrow!

Hey, it's been a few years since I have been out and I'm looking at coming out for the first time in a while tomorrow. Could someone post the cc address so I know where I'm going please?
Also will tires and sauce be available to purchase at the track and how much is it? Thanks
