Let's just set the pipes down on little sliding pucks instead of velcro, then send Jerry out to run for 5 minutes and race whatever layout results. Dynamic Impact-based Track Layout System, I'm gonna trademark that.

that drawing has 2 straightaways haha. but also that layout doesn't seem to utilize the large amount of carpet. i also don't feel that layout will flow very well. would be nice for the new layout to make use of its large size and add some more technical sections and adding a diagonal straight could add some of that as the straight would be shorter and could add more turns and overall a longer laptime.

Being up nights sucks. especially when you have too much coffee. lol. doodled some more on the cross town straight layout. 3 more examples. getting more technical.

before you skewer me saying there are too many pinch points....its not drawn to scale.

modified the last one on the entry to the straight a bit. could pull back the chicane on the right side a bit also. work in progress.

LOL

I got your puck and your pipe here.

Damn, are those tire marks on my back? Thanks for that trip under the bus..................again.

How about letting Adam design the track? On 2nd thought, that wouldn't work either.

There wouldn't be anything about the track that is "straight". Back, front or diagonal.

I really like that first one. Enough technical bits to be interesting, and plenty of places to set up a pass. Not a fan of the tight bit on the right on the other three.

I feel like all these designs need more dots. We need something to keep Jacob and Kodi coming back for more.

I believe a diagonal straight was to replace the back straight... just saying.

Kind of like the SIR Nats track..

Side note... How f ing small was that track?
