FDR and endbell timing trade off against each other. So e.g. you might run 3.6 FDR with 45 degrees of timing, or 3.4 with 35. These examples are just ballpark figures depending on your car's drivetrain and how smooth you are with the throttle, and assuming a good fan. Always make a 3-minute run and check the motor temp before making a 6-minute run.

+1, well said. I would also like to add that many people overlook their drivetrain maintenance and efficiency. Clean out and properly lube all of your bearings, make sure your belts (if you're running belts ) are only as tight as they need to be, check that nothing binds, make sure your gear mesh is set right, etc. If you don't have them already, DCJs up front can also reduce chatter and make the car smoother and more efficient. This all adds up, especially in a slow class like SS.

We didn't have a race Satruday

But... check the schedule, between CC, H30 and NORA, October is going to be a busy race month!

I believe so, yes. We're now looking at:

October 11 (CC)
October 15 (H30)
October 18 (CC)
October 19 (NORA) - 5-hour practice
October 25 (NORA) - season opener
October 29 (H30)

That's a lot of wheel time

What is the turn out looking like for this Saturday? I know IIC and Worlds are sort of over lapping. I was planning to come up to run some 17.5 Sedan.

Should be a great one. We haven't raced in the gym in a few weeks so we are all looking forward to getting back in. Worlds has only effected the entry by 1 person in Mod TC. Brian will be back and running Saturday. We fly out for IIC on Monday.

17.5 sedan is one of the biggest classes on Saturday. Usually 2-3 heats of 8 for 17.5 stock sedan. Also very competitive with some very fast guys.

Pimping a new color for the Worlds...

I'll probably run both but the green will be easier to see when contrasting the large red and white apexes at Kissimmee.

Will certainly miss ya'll this Saturday.

Nice looking lids, Jake! You're representing with style.

Erik, I've had the schedule page updated since early August, and the front page with the next two upcoming races updated since last Thursday. I'm not sure what else I can do
