We could start online registration and eliminate the walking around taking entries. Leave it to the individual to make sure they are on the sheets. That way we could easily start at 6. My vote is cut the practice and start earlier. Also maybe cut some of the quals and put 10 cars in a heat rather than 2 5 car heats. Tighten up the night a little.

Just some thoughts because my participation next year is in question due to time slot.

I'd head down there but it doesn't look like they do a novice class. Looks like an awesome track though.

Hehe, I'm a little off pace to run SS. I'd be lap fodder. Maybe I could paint my car bright yellow with big black checkers on it and I'd be a moving road hazard.

Like Ryan said, we stick the new guys in scale spec from day 1.
But seat time is the best investment you can make in any kind of racing.

Hope I didn't screw anything up by doing that. Sorry.

SXT 3.0 ok to use? Don't see any track rules out there.

I can't imagine my frustration level if we had even less practice time than we currently have. Not to mention how little traction Q1 would have. Practice is a necessity for more reasons than one. Many people are buying or borrowing and installing what they need to race during the pre qualifying practice time. I just don't think reducing practice time will lead to a good and fun racing environment overall.

I wkould have to agree^^^. I smoked an Esc on sat and had to tear my f1 apart to install a new esc. I think i got about 5 laps of practice before the practice time closed. Maybe 10 laps on my ss car. So i like having that extra time available before racing starts.

You didn't mess anything up.
TZ II follows the same rules as Seattle RC. And we also use the same tire sauce. The doors open at 1 PM officially but sometimes earlier than that.
The tables and chairs are set up so you go in, plug in charger and sauce the tires, and you are ready to go. Q1 starts at 5pm. And hotdogs are served after Q1 around 6:15pm
Here is TimeZoneII thread.
