I recently picked up a stadium truck. What's the preferred tires and motor for racing stock class? Any particular night have better turn out for trucks?

Also looking for an esc if anyone has one for sale.

I would say dirt webs, or scribbles for tires. For the motor the Trinity xfactor 17.5 is a beast. Both of which can be purchased at trcr. As far as I have seen there has only been a truck class at big events such as NIS.

I think TCRC went to 13.5T for stadium truck a couple years ago.

For motors, the Trinity X-factor 13.5 seems popular - you can get this at the track. I use a Team Scream - "The One" 13.5, but only available mail order and made to order, so a week or two to get. There are other options at TRCR that perform at the top level - Maclan, ShurrSpeed, etc... Scott or any of his staff can guide you there.
Tires can be a choice of a couple options...
The JCON Ellispes seem to work really well
Dirt Webs are always an option. I like Dirt Webs on the rear and Electrons on the front
AKA Chainlinks seem okay- I have used Chainlinks on the rear and Typos on the front with some success
The best I have personally tried are the Positrons front and rear, but I did get beat by guys with the Ellipses.
One guy had good success with the Octagons, but that option would be best on an afternoon blue groove track.

I have to say, when the stadium truck class is running, there are quite a few fast guys that run it. 17.5 stock buggy is a safe class to plan to run, as there is always a solid line up for that class, with a variety of skill/experience levels.

For those of you not on the social
media pages..

Just announced track and racing/practicing etc is CLOSED until further notice after today. Hobby shop WILL remain open.

I for one know I have a tab and rely on sponsors/internet for the majority of my stuff but will head down there tomorrow and settle up and pick up a few things so hopefully they can make it through this and I hope/encourage others do the same...
