Unknown racer?

I am also interested in this track since its only 10 minutes (probably 20 once Costco in Covington opens) from my house.

A little background about the track,

This year fantom Z promotions took over the mx side of Pacific raceways.

We were talking to the R/C hobbies in covington about putting in a track, they told us how and (bam!) track up.

None of us at the track have raced or been to a race before. Totally new.

So we are open to new ideas/help with the whole project.

Me personaly- had a nitro rustler about 3 years ago, never raced. I just bought a slash. That i broke today.

Then they should of also told you, you will need a timing system before racers will show up.

I know all those guys there, and they are a great bunch they work with our Rock crawling club. WARCRC.ORG but there not racer's

Check your pm.

So you say 10am on Wednesday the track will open.

Directions Please??????

Thanks for bringing another outdoor track to the great NW. Maybe this could be a NCT stop in the future.

Realistically you need an AMBrc or AMBrc3 decoder, because of the large investment that people have made in personal transponders.

if you want anymore info about the track email [email protected] or send me a pm. thanks!
I hope this all works out for you. I think the timing might be off for a good initial response due to the weather moving in, but I think it will give you time to get a program set up before the spring. I know a lot of people would be behind this project due to the location and possibility of showing the hobby to the masses and alot of input can be received through this forum. I would also suggest maybe contacting some different tracks (Tacoma RC, C&C etc) that have established programs for their input!!!! Good luck and don't get discouraged!!!

If your still looking for a drivers stand, I think Stav from C&C still has his. If i'm not mistaking all you have to do is tear it down and haul it away. Not sure contact Stavman (RCTech name) and he will let you know for sure.

I like the looks of it and having another outdoor option is great. I have to agree with other who've mentioned the need for a legit timing system for racing. Probably something to do before the next outdoor season starts but I'm not afraid to come down and run the track for $10. What are your hours?

track is 95% done, still waiting on a guy to get a drivers stand but there is a hill you can stand on (that is 4 ft higher then the highest part of the track).

track is a blast!
