Default Regionals

Some info for this weekend’s Regional’s.

Practice on Friday will be from 10:00 am to 6:00pm (miss print on the flyer).

We will run a 10th scale prototype body class as a promoters option.

Camping at the track is OK.

Bring your ez-up's tables and chairs, cords and power strips, we'll have power brought out to the general pit's.

This is a ROAR Event so get your memberships up to date, have your current card with you, we will get a current list as of this week from ROAR, so if you are not current you must pay at the track. We will have the same tech tools used last time, and will be performing the standard tech procedures, so read the rules, look at your openings, wings, dimensions, etc.

Also look like a big turnout so we will be running a tight schedule and ask all to be ready to roll..........

Can't wait should be a killer event, were fixing a couple blemishes on the track this week, cleaning it up and will be spraying the track for this weekend’s race.

Now I'm off to fluff up the old Mugen MRX3........................

The Smithonion called looking for an MRX3. Should put you in touch. Talked to Mike Stanton the other night. He should be dragging his Picco down. Brad Johnson should have a HPI Proceed under some sawdust. Gives me an idea: should have a vintage race for regionals. Anything prior to 2004 is legal to use. Curry's got a Parsec. That would be cool to see hit the track. We could drum up some PB's and 3 shock front BMT with that dreadful metal clutch that made sparks.

Maybe another time.

Looking forward to the weekend. Weather should be fantastic!

It's true. I'm comming Friday. I had to Lipo my chassis and starter box. I 'm running the old beast tonight to see how she goes. Sure hope my tires still have some grip in them. I might see if I can tune my G1 otherwise it's my trusty TOP for HP!

Brian,

I still have your old BMT 95R. Your BMT against my Parsec. Then we can get Brad or Paul to race my Serpent Vector. You game?

Seriously, maybe the fine folks at Timezone can organize a vintage race weekend for everybody at some point. That would be cool. Get Dave Clark involved with some Delta's.

Steve

I threw that wretched thing out! Actually, I may have sold it to Dave Donelson. In that case, I owe him an apology. If I had a hole big enough in the back yard, I would throw what's left of the Veteq in there too! At least the Parsec was cool looking.

Slappy,

You sold (BMT 95R) it to me, you gave me a low price for it. Don't worry, I don't hold it against you.

You even scribbled a setup for it on one of the raceway hobbies small brown paper bags. I kid you not, I still have that too.

Steve

Yes, the Parsec was cool, I will hang on to that car for good.

There will be a Serpent Vector running this weekend. I have one of Godson's old cars to run in 1/8th scale.

I'll see if I can find some set up sheets from '98. In the meantime put 35wt in the shocks and yellow front springs with red rears = money!

I see that practice is cut off at 6 sharp. Does that mean the blender fires up at 6:01p? King Richard at the helm?

See everyone tomorrow.
