What to do What to do..
take 22 hours each way and Drive after Wetsnachy... for $900-$1600 depending on RV, Truck, or Truck and RV Trailor
Take plane and forget 1/2 my crap like The Nitro Challenge?
Whats a Guy ta do

Dana Plans are still Up in the air... Leaning on Driving but Not Sure. Ninja is stil deciding, best thing for him would probobly be ta fly since less time off of work
Maybe I can get Chi ta call in sick for couple days and road trip it with me

Let me know what I can do to help you out.
My flights already booked so, I'm sorta stuck there.. and I need to race the Shoot-out too. I have always had BAD mojo at that race, but this year, I have a feeling, is going to be much different.
Truck nats will be sweet. Hey, you, TP, anyone else that was there, what's tire wear like at the Pit? One runs in truck or two runs or what?
And what's the radio impound situation like? Do I need a radio box to protect it while in impound?

Super fst guy TP can give ya good insight on tires... I Ran Gators all week and where SUPER dialed, But the mains could have been Switches/Holeshots as well
radio impound is fine.. ALl Cubbies so the radio is safe from falling over. So no worries there
As we get closer Ill have a better idea of my plans
FUN TIMES THIS YEAR FOR SURE

mike, they are going to run the track dry at nats. It gets very abrasive, 300 werks stubs are the tire that i run there. xtr holeshots are also very good once the track starts to groove up, to be competitive you should have a new set of tires every run. You can also run werks 300 lugs or lpr crime fighters for a longer lasting tire but you might sacrifise a little speed, or depending on your driving stile you might like them better. oh i for got you run panther, lutz runs gator's down there everytime. The more they wore done the faster they got, some of the losi guys ran switches also. Pretty much any tire works on this track, just find one that lasts.lol

Yeah, I was figuring Gators and Switches. I'll plan on one runs and if they get better as you/Lutz say then that will just be less gluing I guess. lol...
I read they plan on wetting the track for Wednesday practice, which is kinda too bad just because it will be a day longer before the surface becomes whatever it'll be when ROAR takes over.
Who'da thunk it; one run 1/8th truck tires...

I remember one runs at the nationals in Vegas in '04. Taylor was there, remember that dude. I bet if it wasn't windy you could smell the rubber in the air. lol...
Man, I HATE glueing tires... especially truck tires. I suppose I'll need to get a six-pack of Losi glue
