pretty cool layout.

Not sure what the 1/8 scales would do on the carpet or whatever the blue is....probably WHEELIE like a mofo.

We're not in Europe, but the "Wall of Death" would be pretty cool for the electrics. They use a lot of carpet on tracks in Europe.

That looks pretty cool, Clint. Wish I would have come over and run on that one.

In Hawaii they use carpet. The dirt does not hold up well. The cars hook up real nice. I was a nice surface to race on.

Hey dave, despite the shop being closed, the track is still there and I believe the wall ride is too.

As long as you don't mind a little water or mud....... you should try it!

i seen this a year or two ago on you tube but the race was in a asian country. i showed gary and frank swilley and we were gonna try it atfour seasons since the back wall would be perfect but we never put it in. seems like a cool concept and different. i like the carpet combo too.

The carpet is a pretty common thing. It keeps the jumps from blowing out, and often is used on the strait away where the starting grid is.

The idea is good, keeps the track nice and smooth, and keeps down on the maintenance time between heats and rounds.

As for the wall ride, Yatabe Arena in Japan had a wall ride that went up to the base of the rafters. about 15-20 feet high....

seems like that sounds familiar and yeah it was high cause in a couple of the vids, cars were tumbling like boulders off the thing and it was at the end of a straight and a sweeper so they were hitting it pretty fast. it was fun and challenging i bet!
