Might just have to make the trip down and snap a few. Could you get away from the shop this afternoon to work on putting some pipe down? I could pick up some fitting's.

Planning on it actually. I'll be over there this morning for a bit to run the packer a little more...and then was planning to go over later in the afternoon to work on the pit area!

I think the CRT .5 would be cool! Also, on Saturdays, especially today, anything nitro or electric is cool.

For anyone coming out for the practice today:

- The track is done, the pipe is only tacked into place, but it should hold up for the day.

- We have limited pit tables available...should have more in the future, but if you want to make sure, bring a table.

- The are currently hay bales to stand on to get up a little higher on the driver stand...so be careful. We ran out of time to get our boxes built, but in the future, the hay bales will be wood boxes!

- The rain has made the parking lot pretty sloppy wet...so please be careful coming in and try your best not to spin the tires on your car!

- A note on parking, as you drive in you want to head for the largest building (it has the "bucks" toilets in front of them) that says "Livestock Barns". Park in front of that building, and pits are just through the gate going into the building...the track is through that building and into the next.

- The track packed very well, but in doing so we used some water. I ran the track a little last night, and slicks were very good!

I'll be out there a little before 3:00pm. If you have any questions about what is going on today, give me a call at the CGRC 541-942-3335. Hope to see a few people out playing today.

I had a blast last night. Thanks to everyone that came out to help "break In" the track. The traction just keeps coming up...it's nuts! The slicks are the ticket for sure.

The layout seems to be working, and 1/8th scale buggies were pretty fun as well. I have to admit, My favorite was probably mod buggy, but they all work...well as long as the 1/8th scales are not on the track at the same time as the 1/10th. Those 1/10th buggies make good berms when running the 1/8th buggy!

We'll be working on the pits a little more so they make more sense, and we have more room. The pipe will also be staked down much better in the future!

Great time last night Richard! Better turn out than I expected and it was really fun! Nice to have a place to run when the weather is crappy. 2 mod is just too much fun! Looking forward to more!

Default TRACTION??!!!

I love traction, it makes everyone feel like a fast guy!! Thanks Richard and everyone that helped put that track together. Having somewhere to play during the winter is awesome.

This weekend will be practice again. Racing won't start until NEXT Wednesday for electric only, and the following Saturday for nitro+.

1/8th works, but they are pretty fast lap times!
