The answer has now arrived.
Through the collaboration of the RC Car Club of Wenatchee (RCCCW), the RC Car Club of Spokane (RCCCS) and Westcoast Hobby in Richland, we are proud to present:
THE 2003 EASTERN WASHINGTON CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES
Round 1___April 12-13___2nd Annual Spring Shoot-out____________________E.Wenatchee
Round 2___May 24-25___14th Annual Hank Perry__________________________Spokane
Round 3___June (TBA)___(2-Day Event TBA)_____________________________Richland
Round 4___July 12______RCCCW Club Race_______________________________E. Wenatchee
Round 5___Aug 17______RCCCS Club Race________________________________Spokane
Round 6___Sept 13______Westcoast Hobby Club Race / Awards presentation___Richland
The goal of the series is to provide an organized FUN series of event's that allow fair competition, yet still maintains the unique characteristics of each host facility. We feel the guidelines below have achieved this.

§ Eastern Washington Championship Series (EWCS) general guidelines, 2003
6 Round series scheduled April through October.
Host club entry into the series is $150 payable prior to the second round.
The host club entry fund will be used to for Championship Series Awards.
Awards provided at 2-Day events should be traditional the individual event and are the responsibility of the host.
EWCS awards will not be given at 1-Day events, except for the Series Championship Awards presentation at the conclusion of the last round.
Each host club retains 100% of EWCS entry fee money.
Each club may include 1, 2-day Event into the Series. Additional rounds are to be single day
format.
The entry fees for non-hosting club members at 2-Day events are not to exceed $60 for 2 classes.
The entry fees for non-hosting club members at 1-Day events are not to exceed $20 for 2 classes.
Participating clubs agree not to hold events that conflict with an EWCS round.
The following are considered EWCS classes and are to be run at each EWCS round:
Stock Truck
Mod. Truck
Stock Buggy
Mod. Buggy
Gas Truck (Pro Gas Truck @ RCCCS)
1/8th Scale (Pro 1/8th Scale @ RCCCS)
Monster Truck (Small Block @ RCCCS) (.15 max, Bump start ok, Any radio, Any body, Any susp., Maxx size tires only)
Race day format will be traditional to each hosting club. However, will include a minimum of 2 Qualifiers and Single Mains for Electric and 2 Qualifiers and 30min A-Mains for Nitro classes.
Driver Championship Series Awards will be presented to the Top 10 in each class.
A “Traveling” Club Championship Trophy will be presented to the winning club. This same Trophy will be presented each year to the new Championship Club.
ROAR membership is required at RCCCS events.

Best 4 of 6 rounds count toward Driver Championship.
All entrants into the classes listed collect EWCS Driver Championship points.
Drivers must complete 1 lap in there respective main to score any points per class, per event.
Points will be awarded as follows: (scored per driver, per class)

§ Club Championship Series, 2003
All 6 rounds count toward Club Championship.
Participating Clubs will designate an even number of driver(s) per class, per event, to score points for their respective clubs. They will be considered the Designated Club Driver(s) (DCD).
DCD’s can compete in and score Club Championship points in more than 1class. Example: Racer A can be designated by Club Z for both Mod Truck and Gas Truck.
DCD’s also score Driver Championship points within the same race.
DCD’s qualifying and finishing position within the Club Championship Series is relative to the finishing position of other DCD’s. Example: In Mod Buggy there are 9 drivers in the main event and 3 DCD’s, Club Z’s DCD finishes 3rd, Club X’s DCD finishes 6th and Club Y’s DCD finishes 7th. The finishing positions within the Club Championship Series would be 1st= Club Z 8pts; 2nd= Club X 5pts; 3rd=Club Y 3pts.
Points awarded as follows: (scored per positions within Club designated driver(s) only)

Example: Stock Truck has 15 entrants; 8 of which are DCD’s. The Club Championship points available for this class, at this event would be:

Round 3 has been confirmed for June 21st & 22nd at WESTCOAST HOBBIES in Richland. This will be WESTCOAST'S 2-day event within the EWCS.
Also: DON'T MISS OUT ON ROUND #1 !!! Entries for the Spring Shoot-Out will be taken up until this Friday at 8:00pm!!!

The 1st round of the Eastern Washington Championship series is in the books. The 2nd Annual Spring Shoot-out was a huge success!

Yea, when I talked to Les I was only talking about the guys from Wenatchee. RCCCW will have a strong showing at the Hank, trust me. Quite a few of our members are out-of towners that will be there.
And, after the Hank I won't have to hang my head in shame like I did after my ULTRA poor results at the Shoot-Out! My stuff (and me
) are running well and I can't wait for redemption!!! I was way behind the eight ball for my home race, ugggg
I'm ready!! Let's do the Hank tomorrow!!
