Thanks! I'm looking forward to racing in Wenatchee again. I like the track maintenance rule. It'll keep those from slacking off who think they're too good for it. So how do these one day events work? Is it one heat race then the main?

two rounds of qualifying and then the mains.
we have been starting at 1:00; but may be starting earlier.
The club will discuss it at our next meeting tuesday night.

I would think that if the event is going to be over before 10PM then we'd have to start before 1PM. I suppose that depends on how many entries you're expecting as well. I like the maintenance rule. They should enforce the corner marshal rule a little more as well. At least find someone to corner for you if you have to get things ready for another race. I thought they did a good job of enforcing that in Spokane from what I was able to witness.

We are considering starting the first round before noon, hopefully like 10am. Don't quote me on that yet. We'll know for sure on Wednesday.

RCCCW club meeting is Tuesday night.

10 AM would be great... well that's my 2 cents. This will be the first time I've raced in Wenatchee. I watched the last one but couldn't race. The weather SHOULD be much nicer this time around. How many entries would you estimate to be there Mike? Also when is the dead line for pre-registeration? I'll be in Wenatchee this weekend. Is there a club race? Maybe I'll come by and take a few runs. If so, how much for a nobody like me to race for the day?

Weather should be nice and warm, no heaters need!!
If paying by PayPal, pre-registration cut-off will be midnight of Thursday July 10th. If mailing in your registration, I wouldn't go no later than Tuesday or Wednesday, July 8th or 9th. I'll check the P.O. Box last thing on Friday, July 11th. If you've mailed it in and we don't receive it, you'll have to pay on Saturday, and when we do receive your monies, they will be sent back. Fair?
There is a club race this weekend, $10 each for the first two classes and $5.00 for the third. ($25.00 for three classes!)

Thanks for the info Tazman. Well I'll definately be in Wenatchee this weekend. I'll have to see if I can get to the track. My in-laws live less than a mile away from the track.

Goodmorning everyone;

This is to let you ALL know that the STARTING TIME of the 4th Round of the EWCS in Wenatchee on JULY 12th will be 10am sharp.

The track will be open for limited practice until 9am.

Track Maintenance and water will happen between 9-9:45am, also between qualifying rounds #1, 2, the start of the Mains and quick touch up before the Nitro A Mains.

We will be running 2 rounds of qualifying (minimum) and the mains. Looking at the schedule we should be finished by 6-7pm. That is counting on more entries than we will probably have.

You can expect a VERY tightly run race on the 12th. 3 min between Electric classes and 5 before Nitro (figuring in the 2 min warm-up). The race day schedule will NOT wait for anyone! This is not meant to offend anyone, we've been to really long races this year and we want you, to be able to get home, at a reasonable time.

ALSO: if you can please pre-enter at www.rcccw.com. This will help us out a bunch on race day. Oh, we will take late entrys and qualifying will be Rocket Round.

triple a mains in electric?
how long are gas mains?
Will classes like Stampede be ran also?

Yes you will be running the races. Jeff will help out when you are racing, etc. as will I.

It will be IFMAR.
Triple A's for Electric??? (depends on turn-out)
30 min for Nitro A's
Stampede will run.
