I did some calling around for motel rates. The best deal that I found was the Smokey Point Motor Inn. If you ask for the Peel-It discount it is $50 a night for one or two beds. Rooms have a stove, microwave, and fridge. It is also close to Peel-It (1.5 miles).

Mike... I just heard today that you are no longer a part of peelitraceway?? If thats true, I'm sorry to see you go. I dont think the racetrack or local racers had a better friend, always willing to help and do what's best for the program. where are you going and what are you doing? are you still going to be around the track?

will be a good time, i will be running the RD for the race....

as many of you know last year we had our rd bag out on sunday and i filled in, we had a couple delays, but this years will be run different, it will be a tight run race, so we can all get out of here early and have some nightlife fun.

we will start on time and end ontime, i will have a schedual posted here in the next week or so with the times we are starting. when it fills up i will try and get the heats posted a week or so early and then i will have a more accurate schedual up for everyone to view....so you will know what heat you are in before you actually get here.

and when lunch and what not is.

hopeing to make this the best race yet!

Garrett,

Give me a call when you have time. We went over somthings at the NCT meeting in October about RD'ing that I want to go over with you; since Mike was the one at the meeting and you weren't.

Nothing big, just want to make sure are "in the loop" as to what the rest of the hosts came up with and all agreed too is all...

Just called Smokey Point for a reservation. Talked to the manager. He didn't know anything about the "Peel-it" Discount. So as far as he's concerned its $66 for a single bed $77 for two beds. Still reasonable but there is no discount as of 5 minutes ago.
