drifting is a term for the new kids on the block, back in the day, we called it, getting sideways, or as my buddy gene would put it, "lets go out terrrorizing" best car, 65 merc comet. could hold a slide even on the straight part.

Ditto with my '65 Plymouth Satellite, especially fun on those 270 degree freeway offramps.

I for one would welcome an outdoor onroad nitro and electric TC Summer series. It would help all the outdoor programs, as long as there would be cordination on race dates, so as to not hurt any of the long standing race programs.

For example; FW has a well attended program, which by all indications will see a large increase in attendence this season. They race every Sunday, weather permitting. They also hold a race on the Tacoma waterfront, on the 4th of July each year and the 2 day Summer Sizzler event.
Four Seasons races on Saturdays.
TZ held the Roar gas sedan regionals last year but is planning to hold 3 or so Saturday club races this year.
SIR started their outdoor program last summer.
Peel It is a great indoor facillity, that could run onroad nitro indoors, since they already are running nitro offroad indoors.

I'm sure all the club and track organizers could get together and come up with a workable plan for a series. It would be a win win for everyone. Just my 2 cents.

Yes a summer points series is the reason why I am asking... but I am not 100% sure I am going to do it.
