Oh George please!!
The car is just getting old (Brake out the new B4).
You may have to go back to stock for a while like Dusek or NOT.

Jeff ...
For the last 5 races I`v been having to use a brush motors again...

Its sucks ...
I hate it ....

Can`t wait to get back with my Neo !!!!

For now

Mod truck = 5 run`s then cut and buy new $Quasar$ brush

basically a new set for each night I race ...

and of course

the 4th & 5th runs are slower than the first...

The worst part of it all !!!

the newbees ?

Their brushless R way faster than me now ....

Hate it
Hate it

Hate it....

Have you tried the Novak GTB/Velociti system? Guys down here have been pretty impressed and they seem to hold up pretty well.

Might want to go ahead and just start running Losi while your at it.

George it might be the motor that you are running. The KR motor is obsolete, If you are going to try more brushed motor testing get a Checkpoint or V2. This will cut your motor maint in half and you wont need new brushes everyday. I'm currently running a Checkpoint based motor I get at least 10 strong runs between cuts and about 50 runs on a set of brushes. I know that the V2's have similar mantance patterns.

G Pete ...

Scott said it was one of his best factory built Reedy Kr`s.

Got to run something , not going to quit racing...

but

If I had to run brush forever, I would ....

Jeff

Just a few more weeks and I get the new 2007 Competition back from Lrp....
They say they bullet proof this one ...
We will see won`t we....

If it is`nt , I`ll have to switch controller`s at least....

Tim

10 runs !!!!

O-Man !
That 4 more slower runs than the first 6.....

Like I`m going to be happy & content with that .....

Get real you guys .....

Thanks for the help however....

Actually George, ALL 10 runs are strong because the brushes don't fade. You just cut at 10 to extend the brush and com life. The first run is usually slower than the 10th but hey thanks for the positive attitude.

True that,
I was stated 10 runs just as a routine maint. I often go many many more. And I seem to be competitive on all runs.

G ?

you mean ...

If I did`nt have to replace my Quasar`s after only 5 runs ..

My attitude would improve ?

Damm right ....
