you guys outa know by now that the NCT wipes out alot of the local offroad racing for the indoor tracks
during its month after month span

it has since it started
and before that the tracks had a following during the series months but now they dont
and what does that mean for the tracks?

hope thay can stay open,,

its a issue that was dropped years ago on here cause people dont care
they wanna be at the big races and thats all!
but they dont race local durung the inbetween weeks at there local tracks
casue there savin for there 3 day monthy big race

I understand these are 1 dayer"s but,,,it is the start of you know what
and its all downhill from there

downhill for the tracks beter for the racers so you make the call

can tracks survive on 1 big race a year? no
will they have a little local following no matter what? yes
will the better racers wanna be at the bigger events? yes
will the better racers skip racing at there local tracks to make it to the bigger races? yes
will this effect the race tracks in our area? yes
will it be in a positive way? you honestly answer this
will peter robinson always be a jerk? yes

everyone like big race events but it is hard on local tracks so

my post dont really matter

Im just opening up the same old can of worms that nobody cares about

as long as they make it to the BIG race..

now you guys wanna start the ball rollin for onroad to?

All the Nct Serier`s has done is make off-road the true KING of R/c again...

also

Trcr gets extra sales from all those Revo parts selling, not to mention the mass 1/8 scale Rtr`s kits flying out the door...

So maybe the parking lot tracks will benafit the same way as the local off-road facility`s have ?

Hopefully ....

the series is huge yes, it is good for the racer and good for the series

but

lets see you say that in front of scott
how he has benifited from it the last 3 years

gfeorge your a idiot and always will be stupid

you mention parking lot racing- it has no overhead so it would be the last track standing in a 5-10 year rc crunch
I only mention this for the other tracks that use racing to help suport families

george you cant aford to go to a big race you would pull your hair tryin to make the b main at least 1 of the 2 hairs you have left that is

sorry turbo i agree with george this time, the last series race, combined with the indoor champs produced not 1, not 2, but 3, thats right i said, 3 mod trucks, can't beat that anywhere with a stick, off road will always be the king of r/c, oh btw, the 122 enties for the kerosene race series, doesn't count cause people came from as far away as california, and virgina to race so that bumped up the local count and shouldn't count. oh yea, almost forgot, all those entries for the summer sizzler, they don't count either.

Well , lets used your time frame ..
you count just the Indoor Champs ...
You forget the Ect race the week end before & you forget the two friday club races &one Sunday club a Tuesday race as well....( 1 weekof race entry`s, starting back from the Indoor Champs)

You dare to include those , Naaa ! you lose, Slayed again...

Footnote:

The thrill of having a big two day event is not really the goal or objective at Trcr...
Unstead
a solid week by week club race program is its true goal....

Been very successfull at doing so far...

So, I hear that the Reedy Race is going to be race 1 of the series.

Gotta start somewhere.

well you missed the point again, MY time frame, didn't include the two weeks before or after the spring champs, just a normal sunday.

look george, my point is,,, why is everything with you have to be the "best" or "most". on a weekly club race turn out, trcr rocks. good crowd, good fun, i agree. in the winter, best place to be in the south end is trcr, none other.

but during the sunny months, EVERYONE knows trcr turns into a ghost town on sunday, and FW is the place to be. (turn out numbers) and FW without a doubt, has the highest single weekend turn out around THESE parts. heck even YOU ditch TRCR to come play on road that weekend (sizzler).

and now with a new indoor on road track, SIR, and single event one day turn out of 122 entries, SIR is also on the map as the place to be.

so when you start talking about the "BEST" i just have to disagree and make fun. there is no best IN MY OPINION, there are options. some chose to exercise those options and travel around to different tracks, some don't. what ever any body choses for themselves, is the right place to be for them at that time.

so in closing all i have to say is, i enjoyed the hell out of trcr when i raced there despite the cat calls and the teasing i got from you, and it will always remain at the top of my list of places to race. when i decide to return to off road i will be there.

oops one more thing, off road, on road, monster trucks or mini, siver cans or brushless, its all racing and its all about the fun and i think thats why most of us do this.

AND THAT IS WHAT MAKES THIS THE BEST HOBBY.

can i get a HA RUP..........

just a ole used to be fast guy at trcrs opinion.
