Wow, the indoor season is fast approaching. I am looking forward to starting off with a bang: fire off the season at home, jam in a trip to NY, home, then come see my buds to the south for a couple of days. Hey Ryan, I can not recall if you allowed the yellow wheel JFT blue stripe in 12th scale or is it strictly CRC/BSR purple stripe?

Yes Brian, your obnoxious yellow wheels are acceptable... they kinda remind me of your personality. 🤣

No promises, I still have to talk with a friend of mine BUT,

Any interest in possibly running the January 26th race at the Auto Show? (Happens to be the same weekend- Home - Portland International Auto Show )

I know indoor season is fast approching (I know I am looking forward to the rug) but it could be an opportunity to promote and try and gather new interest in the onroad scene.

Just throwing it out there. I know one of the folks behind the event and he is always looking for new attractions.
(I DON'T think the Axial booth will be there this year, so it could be a good opportunity to promote on a large stage)

Ah, you guys aren't running 21.5 Stock Touring? I was thinking of making a run down there to visit from Seattle this winter, but I don't have a 17.5 car this year and am not running Scale Spec. That might put a damper in my plans.

You would still be competitive on our layout. The only place you would lose a little is the straightaway.

I'm planning on coming up and race next month and have a couple of questions. I just got back from IIC and have tires, the word on the street is that the Gravity tires are actually the sweep blacks with the gravity logo. Would I be able to use those or do I need to get different tires? Secondly I'd like to give Scale spec a try but don't have one of the Maclan motors, does anyone have a loner for a day?
