I'm guessing that this thread may be more effective in the Mid Atlantic forum, which includes NJ. Just want you guys find the right audience!

I was torn about doing that ...was a sore subject when rctech moved everyone into Mid Atlantic ....

Yeah, because I bet a lot of your racers come from NY. I don't like the way they split the forums. No reason for it.

Love what you guys are doing. See you in the fall.

Agreed, was a poor decision on their part.

Thanks fella's for the support. I'm a big fan of rctech as well as FB so I'll try and make sure information is duplicated across both platforms as much as possible.
Cheers!

I'd like to see a Saturday race program in the summer, and Sundays in the fall, winter, and spring. Traffic is terrible coming back from NJ into NY on a Sunday. It's really difficult for NY'ers to get there on a Friday night.

Best of luck to you guys. I admire what you are doing, and I really hope it works. I don't race off-road much, so I haven't been to Critters since it switched back to dirt many years ago, but I always loved it and it wasn't terribly far from SI. I have a 17.5 B5M and a 17.5 SCT, so I'd be happy to come and play some day. I really like that outdoor track you guys built. Saw the pics on FB.

I agree with many of you - NJ is not mid-Atlantic. NY, NJ, PA and CT should be in the same grouping.

Hoping to get a Friday free soon to come back and race. And obviously I'll spend more time there in the fall as well.

And just in case there are any racers new to this facility reading this thread, here's a video of the track from this past April. As far as I know, it's still the current layout.

The trouble with Weekend racing in the summer is turnout, as many are outside playing with their 1/8th Scales. Fall/Winter I'm hoping we get something going. We'd love to see ya back !

Yup current layout. Looking to change it up last week of June for our 46RC opener. Not a complete overhaul but a change up at least...

We made a quick layout change Monday.
Basically we wanted to freshen it up a bit for taking over the track on July 1st.

Track direction is now reversed. The Double before the straightaway/cross-town has been moved to a double approaching drivers stand on the right. The "quarter-wagonwheel" is gone and replaced by a Double in the far left corner. A couple of pipes have been adjusted to allow better alignment for center jump section... Should be a fast & fun layout for our Summer Club Racing program.

We'll be doing a few other renovations this week also.

Track is open for practice today!

I have July 7th off, so barring any unforeseen circumstances I should be able to make that inaugural race.
