Turf Wars July 10th-12th
2wd 17.5 buggy
2wd mod buggy
2wd 17.5 Truck
2wd mod Truck
4wd 13.5
4wd mod
2wd sc 17.5
2wd sc mod
sc 4wd
scb mod

as far as 1/8th scale tires
city blocks, blockades, double d's, any block tire should work.
As for turf tires proline pin points or schumacur mini pins for the rear
and staggard for the front.
So for the 12th it's just 8th scale, no 4wd sct, or smaller?

When I signed up via rccarevents, it had multiple classes. So your statement had me a bit confused.

So no 10th scale 4wd buggy? May not be worth the trip for just one class.

Thanks. Still have a couple days to decide. If I go, I'll just be bringing buggies with me this weekend. (2wd 17.5, 4wd mod, and 8th)

We went down for the opener, ran just my 8th scale, and man what a blast. I was shocked we were racing on Sunday when the track wasn't there Saturday when we arrived. Well worth the trip, next time I'm bringing my crawler to play around, that indoor course looked awesome. and I noticed an outdoor course, but never walked over.

Anyone thinking about checking it out, gotta go. I'll visit again.

Glad you had a good time. If you can make it come on down tonight for some indoor off road carpet racing, lots of fun. Also don't forget the Turf wars July 10-12.

Yeah, No trip down there this weekend. I will be back though.

I think I'm planning on coming down for an event your having towards the end of May, don't remember what it was off the top of my head. I'm traveling from Maine, so I can't come down every weekend.

Are there any plans to have the Short Course Nationals this year? I looked on the event schedule and it shows a race called the Electric Nationals in the dates that would normally reserved for the Nats. I'm trying to plan my summer vacation around the Nats race, so I need to know what's going on. Thanks.

The Electric Nationals are taking place of the Short Course Nationals. Still the same race just a new name. Last year they allowed 1/8th scale ebuggies to race and I think e truggies. That is why the changed the name. So book your hotels and come on up for soem great outdoor racing.
