Hey Guys,
My brother wants to go to the track next time we go. He has a slash, i know people put them down but i see them every time i go to rchr. How are they on the track? I know they tend to flip easy ( being that they are not LCG chassis), but i have always been impressed with them. Could it be competitve at rchr?

P.S this is a stock slash(im sure it could be competitive with a ton of mods)

Racing, like most things is 90% driver, 10% equipment. A stock slash is competitive in our 17.5 class (if you can drive).

Leave it as is, and mod as needed. The first thing I would do is pick up a decent set of tires, and read whatever you can about suspension tuning.

p.s. I might have to grab the F-250 tonight and make my way up there. Hopefully I get to leave work soon...

I agree 100%...could a slash with tires and a good driver be competitive enough for the a main? I just dont see many a-main drivers with slash's...does not mean it could not happen. Im just saying i don't see it too often

Mark placed high in the A-main with a rental Slash last week. Doesn't get much more stock than that.

Let me guess. Brandon, Larry, Proctor, you and probably Paulo cause he lives close. So who were the other 6 that went out in the snow to race a toy car?

Had a good time tonight but I'm sorry to say that I'm letting go of mod truck, I realized that it's such a slug compared to my buggy and I just wanna stay fast. Dont get me wrong I'll jump in time to time but I'm gonna focus on buggy and use short course as a class to enjoy and have fun with.
