I wanna know how much I beat you by and compare it to how much I would have beaten you by if I was there last week.

Nice run in truck. Were you sandbagging during the qualifiers?

Mark,

Do you have any Tekin capacitors for the RS at the shop?

Randy Pike told me to add a 2nd cap, lower the esc timing a bit and try to fit a fan in my SP. That should solve the overheating issues that I had in the main on Saturday.

Not right now we don't, but that does remind me to get some. Your esc is very blocked from any airflow, regardless of fans or vents. I have one of those tiny LRP Quantum speedo heatsink and some tape we could put on there and reroute some wiring for a big difference. Also run less timing on the speedo and more on the motor, or less timing all together and bigger gears - let the motor take the heat, its just a big spool of wire and cheaper to replace than a speedo. Timing, gearing, and heat buildup rules haven't changed since brushed motors.

5:30am, I'm fine with a rental car - needs to fit the table(s) most important

Next time I'm down I'll let you play with it and see what we can do. I lowered the esc timing to 15 and will gear up if needed. I'm going to open some vent holes in the body and play around with a small 15mmx15mm fan that I think I can fit in there.

What nights are you at the shop? I'm going to try to take a night off from work next week so I can come up and we can work on my car.

Racing was fun. I just need to get used to the feel of 4wd again. I hope you put some music on the 4wd main video if you post it. I added some "colorfull" comentary... I'll keep my mouth shut next time, I promise!!!
