Well I rebuilt the shocks in my T4, did some practice laps on the track and the fastest laps I did was a 15.4 Not bad I think for my first time on the new track layout, I was mainly doing low 16's and high 15's...I like the new layout, if you get a good groove you can just keep going and going...

See you guys on Sunday..

I too REALLY like the setup especially the back stretch.
I could use some suggestions on either taking the back left corner tight or a little looser to make the first single (2WD truck or Slash). I used to get a little bit of momentum in the last setup but since it is a bit of a hairpin I have been trying some different lines back there.

I am seriously considering changing over my Slash to open class like the rest of the pack. Once my lipo comes in I'll see what happens but I love the handling of the Slash vs my Rustler for some reason. There aren't alot of places letting you run open (like PSH) but changing everything over for a complete day of racing at either track I think is worth it. Or maybe I'll go with my original plan a few months back and have an open SC10 and leave the Slash stock for PSH. Has everyone found a comforatable gearing for the SC10 that doesn't get too hot for the track? I was slightly geared down on my vxl (25/83) and the pack and motor weren't too happy.

Is a ratio around 11, or up to 13 like the stock Slash the best answer?

Nah you want it to get hot. Its almost like a real car. You dont want to start doing 120+ MPH on a cold engine. You dont wanna take sharp turns on cold tires. The hotter the better.

Like they say if it burns that means its working.

Well he bought 2 $300 3s lipos from thunder power. He actually got these batterys before they were released to the hobbystores... nice right.... there a 40c continous and 80c burst, he turned up the ESC to the max on everything and then had me hold the spoiler while he attempted to heat up the tires...lol.... when he hit the gas, smoke poured out from the rear, lol with a big spark then the wheels stopped...
