Sunday's trophy race should be three quals and a main.
For Sportsman class... the only restrictions are, 1/10 scale and electric. We welcome any and all newcomers and will assist in any way we can, he should have a fun time.

What tires you use for Sportsman class is not super critical, since that class is by definition full of novices who are still learning how to put in clean laps and a clean run. If you want non-stock tires for your brother's Slash 4x4, Pro-Line M3 Calibers offer decent grip and a long tread life.

As for the other classes, the fine tuning really depends on surface conditions. M4 Holeshots are very good all around, so you can start with that if you don't want to buy the full spectrum of treads.

I'm running M4 Holeshots on my 4wd buggy (all 4 wheels). On my 2wd MOD buggy I'm running Rips up front and Blockades in the rear.

Sounds like he was at the point where he just wanted to drive something different.

cool video by jason snyder. Too bad I can't use any of the techniques he talks about in my driving, as I'm not good enough. But, might be fun to try it.

Guys, Thanks for coming out tonight. The weather has not been kind lately, but thanks to help from many of the guys, we were able to move everything inside quickly and keep the race program going! Thanks to Jay, Mike, Travis and Mario for making the trip up to race with us tonight!

Results on RCHR.BIZ

Videos tomorrow!

Also a quick announcement, At the request of the Slayer, we will be running a E-Buggy exposition race at this Sunday's Trophy Race. So, if you have an E-Buggy and want to race it, bring it out and we'll have a class for it! Unfortunately, we wont have any trophies ready for it, but the winner will get a $25 track bucks coupon for the shop. We have never officially run 8th scale on our outdoor track, but there have been plenty of guys try it out. Its a bit tighter then some of the 8th scale tracks in our area but should still be a lot of fun!

Can we get an update on the points series count? If I remember correctly, there are race results from two Saturdays ago that haven't been counted yet.

I'm trying to keep track of Kevin's points lead over me in Mod 2wd SC. Gotta try and catch up to him before the series is up
