Reinaldo was nice enough to let me try to drive his sc10 with the sticks...although I used a stick radio when I was a kid...i have absolutely no idea how you do it Reinaldo lol. I handed it back after a lap. Jay did much better. I'm spoiled by the wheel!

I saw that KO Propo picture on Masami's FB page a while back. That's a pretty cool radio...

There was an article on rcnews.net about Maifield possibly leaving AE after the most recent 1/8 ROAR race. Apparently, the new RC8 platform has not been successful and he ended up going back to a modded last-gen RC8 with Kyosho-like front and rear. He was seen spending inordinate amounts of time in the Losi tent at that event, so my guess is that's probably where he's going.

Hi everybody! It's been quite some time since I've visited the track, and I think next Wed my schedule should be free so that I can come up and race. Weather permitting I assume you always run on the outdoor track, right? What seems to be the main tire choices for the various classes on the outdoor track? Holeshot type tires? As usual I'm good to run any class that shows up, but do you usually have entries for Mod 2wd SC and Mod ST? Also, is everyone mainly pitting inside or are we doing outside pitting? Ok hope it all turns out well and I can make the trip up. Thanks.

hey Jack hope all is well, we run outdoors if mother nature lets us if not we run on the indoor track (no rain outs!!!) outdoor tires are mainly pin tires i.e double d, hole shot, blockades, indoor is mostly bar tires. classes have been 2wd sc, 4wd sc, 2wd buggy and 4wd buggy, there have been a few guys trying to get mod truck class going again so it would be good if you have yours

we start at 7pm 2 quals and a main 1 bump from the lower main if we have them been trying our best to be done by 10:30

Sounds great! That's about what I expected for tire choice after watching the videos of the track. Speaking of videos, is it possible to mount the camera at a higher viewing angle? Videos seem to be from a low perspective and you lose a bit of visibility of the far end of the track. Hope for good weather 'cause I'm more in the mood for running the outdoor track. I'll have the 22T with me in case we get enough to run.
