No 4wd buggy? I guess I'm the only one, so that doesn't work

Remember that for the first race, there was a low turnout and as a result, although I came with all three chassis, I was only allowed to run one. That's not entirely fair if forces beyond my control will count against me on points. Not sure what's the best way to handle that, though...

Yah, sorry Reinaldo...having to choose a class for the first race did effect everyone across the board tho. Hopefully turnout will be good again for the next round and future vintage events. I think we can work something out for 4x4 buggy since you are the winner by default!

How about extending the series? If the turnout was low for the first race, then it's realistically just a two race series.

Mixing modern with vintage worked pretty well this past weekend, and I would certainly not mind doing that once per month throughout the indoor season.

Default Vintage Race Series

Vintage Race Series
Unfortunately the turnout for the first race was low. I know I wanted to race at least two classes. But at least we raced and it was a fun day. Round two was much better and looking forward two round 3.

As far as extending the series I'd have to vote no. Sorry just not a fan of having the rules changed halfway thru the game.

Mike and I would be in for another series. Maybe 4-5 races this time.

Might have to find a 4wd too. Reinaldo can't be the only one having fun in that class.

do you guys have a 17.5 buggy class? I would like to return to RCHR, and start racing some dirt on the weekends.

I would like to start racing on Sat nights. Hows the 17.5 buggy class and the 17.5 SC class?

I can respect that position. I thought three races was too small from the beginning. The first race forced us all to take a drop in at least one other class, which meant any screwups in the subsequent two races would put you out of the running for good. I don't like that at all, but apparently there wasn't enough confidence that a larger series would succeed. I could be pissed about that all day, but live and learn, I guess...

Going forward, I think a 6 race series (whatever the type - vintage, modern, whatever), once per month or maybe every other week, with one drop (maybe two), would be optimal. The 9-race summer series earlier this year was too drawn out for some people (myself included...my wife was not pleased about it), and way too expensive to spend $65 for three classes for what was, towards the end, a club race turnout. A 3 race series is clearly too short, so we need to try something in the middle next time.

Hey Tony, we are open for racing every Saturday unless otherwise noted on the racing calendar. Doors open at 3 racing starts at 5. We run 3 rounds of qualifying and mains. It always depends on the turnout but 17.5 Buggy and 17.5 SC are usually pretty popular classes.

Thank you Matt. I run a 10.5 with boost in my buggy. I was asking more for the wife and her buggy.
