hey rick no i didnt go to rce this weekend i was in time square for the boys birthday. i made it down there friday night and started tuning the rb 5. which is heading in a good direction thanks to brandon, really gonna miss that dude. i didnt say you werent fast enough to feel the spring thing i said i wasnt. lol
and mister glacius, mannn, i dont even know where to start with your week ass comments, just be at the track and we'll let the results talk. and you need to show up to rep. a manufacturer my freind. by the way if you built that truck i'd be suprised to see it finish. so go clean the seeds outta yo smokey smoke then take a tokie toke and try to make up a funny RT5 joke.

You carefully grind down the ends of the springs to make them compress straight, ask me next time you see me and I'll show you how I did the ones on my car.

I believe the point of the bigbores is to get a greater volume of oil, not to get a bigger diameter spring. I dont think the diameter of a spring really changes anything. but i think the volume of oil changes a few things, for 1 the temp of the oil would take longer to raise making a more consistent feel, which I myself will never be good ebough to feel. lol. The bb's also just soak up mistakes better then the smaller dia. which is y i like them.
AE guys are testing Kyosho and Losi big bore springs because they are testing big bore shocks. Its less expensive on a small scale to try something thats already made than tooling up just for testing.
