Default Enjoyable 1/8 Nitro Racing near NYC?

Hey all, moving to NYC for a 1 year tour beginning in January. Looking for a few tracks that offer a relaxed racing vibe anywhere up to 2-3 hours away.

I enjoy 1/8 Nitro buggy / truggy. I watched a youtube video of a popular track in NY but got bad vibes, lots of swearing from the drivers stand and I really don't want to be around that environment.

Thank you for any suggestions, have a great day.

Thanks Bertrand, a little is tolerable. Let me rephrase my question, is there any outdoor 1/8 tracks that have a more friendly environment than the others? I'm up for driving 3-4 hours away. Thanks.

The only one I know is Bruckner in the bronx and it is enjoyable mostly when everyone is happy racing without too many mistakes or crashes. The videos might not all the times when everyone's getting along: 99% of the time everybody keeps it rated PG.....

Default Wall RC

You should check out the Wall rc club located in wall NJ, approximately 1.5 hrs south of nyc. Check out the Facebook page, search for Wall r.c racing

Default Angry people travel too..

your going to find that every track has one or a few of those “man-child” type. And in reality they travel to all of the tracks in the region like the rest of us. Get to know the rest of us and it becomes easy to ignore. Come by Barnstormers in Chester NY this Sunday. Sure to be a fun day for all. New faces come very welcome!

Also so check out Trains and Lanes and LCRC for great large events. If ur up for a little further of a drive Rumble in Rome at CRC is Rome NY is one to put on the list.
