Default Special Livery (Dan Wheldon) for Halloween Classic

Any interest in promoting special livery for the Halloween race?

I will paint no charge but I need to know very very soon.

You are the man Chris! I was gonna hassle you Sat. Anyways

If you are willing to run a Mazdaspeed6 I will have it ready this weekend. If you need it done on a lid you're used to racing ill need the blank ASAP. The design is based on his 2011 Indy500 win. Orange/White WilliamRast theme. Ill post a couple in progress pics later today.

wait ... i thought you meant some kind of sticker as a tribute .. (idiot me - i should have read your post .. better?).

i'm temporarily comitted to the r9 for a shell, so if you want to do the work, i'll definitely do this. this scheme looks awesome .. (especially with black wheels!! )

hmm, how to get a new shell to you w/o paying more to ship it than the cost of the shell itself ...

At the time the list was incorrect. I am not entered. I'm dedicated to the points races for this year. Then there was Detroit.. and practice the week before that. After all of that, if I spent an entire weekend at the track I might have to take my wedding ring off for reasons other than it distracts my driving.

Here is my Mazdaspeed as it sits. I think this looks cleaner.

That was just the concept for you to see. I'm totally down with doing the R9 (I think it would suit that better actually), just need the blank. I would like to think I could get somebody to run the Mazdaspeed if I finish it up, but there doesn't seem to be a ton of interest here, although I noticed the views spiked quickly after the first response so folks are watching.. quietly. I won't lie though.. it would be huge for the lid to make the big show if ya know what I mean. I'm as willing as you are, just need the canvas.

Into doing a 1/12 scale body? I have one in need of paint for the HC.

1:12 will pose a challenge but I can pull it off. Thanks Joe! Bring the blank tomorrow

That's probably as much as I will be able to take on. I look forward to doing these lids fellas. Thanks!
