Tekin esc's at the gate
 

Hey all I was wondering who all is running the tekin rs or rs pro in 1s 17.5 12 scale. Has anyone tried the new 203 software. If not what do you use? and could you post your set up here. I am trying to figure this speedo out, they need a newby 1 button program for me lol.

McSmooth has been doing testing with 1/12 scale 1s LiPo 17.5. From what he has found so far:

1/12: At Beaver, rollout at 2.65 inches.
Turbo at 10,
Timing Boost at 50.
Throttle Profile 3.
Turbo Delay at 0.1. Set max RPM to 6500, and choose lower rpm of
1425.
Turbo ramp of 3.
Came off at 170 degrees after 8 mins. I think gettting down to 150 degrees is possible, and that's the new target
temp. 130 degrees just doesn't seem do-able anymore. Still a work in progress for
1/12.

I think we need to increase the delay time for the turbo. Then increase the roll out. We shall see.

Has anybody come up with anything for 17.5 sedan yet? I couldn't get my car to run less than 200 deg. I went everywhere from a .7 up to a 1.25 rollout. I think my delay is too small for the turbo!

I ran the same settings that McSmooth suggested, with a 1.2 rollout in both foam and rubber. Motors were between 147 and 165 after 6 minutes.

Hey guys, I just wanted to post up, and say I had a great time, and another great race day.VTA is great, and 17.5 rubber is fun. I have a new goal in VTA, to catch Carbon Joe... We had some close racing throughout the day though, making it interesting! Will see you guys at the next race! This is Jeff Martin by the way.

jeff, you drove quite well all day. made me remember a time when i was chasing you! carbon j is going to be in trouble when your car/hp comes up...

I really had fun racing saturday, but it seams my motor is just not upto it. lol
maybe if i get something faster then i can keep up with you guys in vta.

Whats the outlook for racing this fall/winter interested in stock touring and or 1/12th scale. Do you plan on having decent turnouts like 2-3 heats for stock touring. Honestly im tired of off road, tired of dirt and wearing old cloths and shoes, but if the out look is only one heat of racing per class i kinda iffy about making the switch.
