W...Looks like you've got the ball rolling. GOOD STUFF! That's fun to hear that they might be be looking at it.

I hope the engineers can roll with the punches, they need to have your idea of 'many different options'. I had only shot for 3 options but backed out 6-8 and 10° from 'stock' ending up with 14° max rather than 20° from 'stock'. With the 3° piece I would have 10° max. There was something magical around the 10° number that Serpent liked.

👍 Nice going W.

Have any of you guys driven the new car? Would you want to at least drive it before you start looking for hop ups? I am no pro driver but I have driven a Mugen and i also own an Igt8 and found the kyosho is easier to drive . Easier to be confident and consistent with the kyosho . It also one of the fastest right out the box with stock gearing .

Hello Ofna,

Caster knuckles with onroad caster values are no hop ups. What htey've done now is putting a Land Rover 109's suspension on a BMW E34 M5 Touring. It fits but something went wrong during parts distribution....

Default Longshot using the Serpent knuckles on the Kyosho GT3

I was thinking of maybe with a little findling the serpent 0 and 6 degree front knuckles might fit on the lower suspension arm of the Kyosho GT3. Or maybe even the IGT8 knuckles. as far as I can see these 3 are the only GT's using the knuckle principle whilst others like Xray, Mugen use the pivot ball suspension.
You might have to use the bearing hub of the serpent GT as well and the length of the driveshafts might be in issue. I would say it's worthwhile investigating but the I have bring together a Serpent GT and a Kyosho GT3 which is a challenge on itself.....

Hey W,
as i can see in your signature you've chosen the IGT8, nice car!
However, did you get any reply from Kyosho yet?
I really like the Inferno chassis and imo many guys would buy or build a caster-fixed GT3 or GT2 to get into the growing GT8 racing-classes. Kyosho should fix that in their own interest to get the car competitive, otherwise i predict a shelf-warming, non-selling future for their GT3 kit

Nice for those wanting 'realism', I'm actually Chevy Camaro guy though. That front end looks like that GT1 `Subaru BRICK' I started with after putting the nifty GT2 Corvette on the shelf to go for the 'short chassis'. For a long time I hoped they would produce the Camaro that actually ran in GT 1:1. Just never saw it able to outrun that beautiful Corvette. 😎

[QUOTE=Ofna2005;15032124]Hey thanks I am going to try different oils for the next time I run her . Was thinking about trying 100,000 up front and 30,000 in the rear . That should help keep the rear steady after the apex of the corner . But if any of you guys have any ideas don't hesitate to spit it out I am willing to give it a try .[/QUOTE willing to try is good we learn for it..lol

The Kyosho GT2 and GT3 chassis are longer than your standard buggy-chassis.
GT2 and GT3 comes with a wheelbase of 360mm, only the old GT1 shared the same chassis with the buggy and a wheelbase of 325mm
