Default Are CEN products good?

I'm curious about CEN, I found an on-road CEN car that they claim to hit 73.4mph out of the box. They also claim their truck will hit 55mph. Are these true? How good are their products? if they are good I'm buying one. Please let me know. Thanks.

I wouldnt waste my money , a friend of my had one and he told me that "CEN" really means "cen it back" (send it back). there are better products out there (hpi, nitro tc3,ofna ldr, etc) don't be fooled with what the box says.

I saw a guy break a diff out-drive on a CEN and he'd only had it on the track for 3 minutes, and he didn't even hit anything, all he was doing was cruising round.

I went to their site to donwload their video, their gun said 73.4 but it looks like my old HPI RS4 3's speed and my rs4 3 doesnt go 73.4mph (I think).

Try dling the video and see if you guys believe it.

How can they say that the car went that fast and driven it with out a body?

My cousin has a Cen CT4S with the R Chasis. Im pretty sure it hits 74.3mph out of the box. My cousin and I were testing it at a stadium in which he was driving it in my car. The RC was right next to me hitting 62mph with a body on. For some strange reason 62mph is the max we could get it to because it kept on spinning out. Keep in mind we tested this recently. He has already put over 3 gallons of fuel into the engine.

Does your hobby shop carry parts for the thing? Someone else metioned it earlier...there are other car companies that have a better reputation. Look for something your shop carries, so if you break anything or want to upgrade parts they'll have it. Suggestions for bargin rtr kits: NTC3, Traxxas 4Tec, Hpi...goodluck

i would believe that the above car can hit 73.4 km/h but not MPH.

and as for the racing scene all over the globe i have not heard any thing that would indicate the products in any major races

and for the quality dept. such as parts and design i have seen a 1/10 on road kit and i am not too impress. maybe for bashing and parking lot races ...anyway compare the prices with the other popular brands...

Default CT4-S speedy.

I have a CT4-S and I love the car. I see that a lot of people here dont. haha, but I've had mine for a while and I have had NO problems other then your normal wear and tear. I have no way of testing the speed of it but its fast really fast. I drive it in a local parking lot when im not at the track and I have to slow down before I hit the top speed because the parking lot is to small. I dont have a local hobby store that sells parts so I get mine from www.customRCcars.com They sell cen's stuff.
