For a long time I have the idea to create something like this:



Sounds to me the ideal way to cut the holes.

thanks Mike! that would be cool if you have a set to spare, I only run 1/8.

I personally don't have the 3D CAD skills, but I wonder what it would cost to fab your concept with a 3d printer(as compared to realizing it in acrylic). I imagine 2 parts with a clamshell hinge, so it could fold flat for storage.

You can also get your name engraved with fonts that fit your personality!

true, that creates a perfect arc.

however, Mike's idea considers the top 3 concerns, same as in real estate, location, location, location.

the wheel arch is located based on the tire location and diameter, that is hiding inside the painted body.

That is why some painters do mask a part of the wheel.
